T’Chaka is a seasoned ruler of his country who has to deal with other world nations while also hiding his country’s true strength showing how wise he is but was manipulated by guilty and family loyalty. Just because your the son of a prince and are royal by blood doesn’t mean you are predetermined to have intelligence and high physical traits, have you seen most royal families…some are lucky to have one of those traits if any at all. Saying he had advantages actually takes away from his accomplishments. Smart kids and athletic kids who are already gifted are born in the hood all the time but they actually have to work harder because they have less access to opportunities then other people due to social and economical differences.
Killmonger graduating from the US Naval Academy at 19 is BS. The Naval academy is a 4 year college. That would mean Killmonger enrolled at 15 years. LOL. All US military academies have a minimum age requirement of 17 before you enter. They don't allow anyone younger than that enroll like civilian colleges. Remember once you graduate from a military academy depending upon your MOS, you are expected to take your place as an officer leading people into combat. Its bad enough for a 21/22 year old lieutenant or ensign to suddenly be in charge of people. But having a 19 year run a unit heck nah.
Shuri would not be the first female black panther. Marvel have shown previous black panthers that were female, including women with T’chaka on the ancestral plane.
kind of wish okoye becomes the new black panther as shes more suitable for the roles. Top combatant, leader, experienced. Plus i think shes really entertaining and would fit one of the themes of the first movie which was wakanda breaking away from some of its old traditions. Dount they'll go that way though. But just imagine okoye with the black panther powers + the black panther suit.
Vibranium specifically absorbs Kinetic Energy (was literally mentioned in the BP movie) not sound waves - which is why Klaw's sound cannon was effective against vibranium in that movie & why both BP & Killmonger's suits were coming apart down in the vibranium mines - it's consistently the major weakness of vibranium in the comics, main MCU & the What If show! Also there are quick trailer shots of Pepper & Shuri working/fighting together, and one of the 'New Avengers Team' from each multiverse (Cap Carter, Starlord T'Challa, BP Killmonger, Party Thor, Gamora etc) circling up like the OG Avengers did.

Actually the middle eastern cell of the Ten Rings in Iron Man 1 were a real sect of the Ten Rings; and Shang-Chi hinted at Wen Wu being behind Stark’s attack and kidnapping cause he wanted his weapons.
Ah, now i just realized that Wen Wu is one of the reason for the birth of Iron Man. Make sense that he was said to be contributing to many history at the beginning of Shang Chi movie.
In the comics the Queen of Wakanda is selected from the ranks of the Dora Millajae. So it makes sense for her to be out in the fight. In the MCU they only hinted at this briefly. In one scene from the Black Panther movie the Queen pulled a blade on someone rather smoothly.

No Vision either. Spider-Man would never have fully evolved into an Avenger. I The Avengers would likely be down at least three to four members that the world/universe could’ve needed for Loki or Thanos. While not shown, it definitely could’ve happened. Heck, Tonys non existence could have somehow expediated the fantastic 4, xmen and 'insert any other marvel hero' appearance in that version of the mcu before infinity war. Also, most of the backers of the sokovia accords wouldnt be around to support it thus keeping the avengers united and possibly stopping thanos from ever doing the snap. The point im trying to say is every action can lead to an infinite number of outcomes, some positive, some negative. Tony not existing would be better for some universes and worse for others, just like any other 'what if' concept. Darcy not existing could result in the universe ending, its that impossible to know what a small change can lead to. Plus, ultimately it comes down to what the writers decide.

Damarin, they mentioned it being Afghanistan in the first Iron Man as well. War on Terror was still going on strong in 2008, no one was afraid of stepping on toes.
I didn't know there was such a pushback against the show. Although, I see a lot of generational issues where _audiences of a certain age_ have difficulty with episodic TV, where each episode is very standalone. And having spent most of my life with that kind of content, I'm okay with that. I grew up with the *What If?* comics. While they didn't come out very often, they were the ones I looked forward to the most. I haven't read one since I was a teenager, so I could be wrong on this. But one thing I remember about the old *What If?* comics from the 70s and 80s is that they would set up a premise (not too unlike the ones we've seen here), but by the end of the issue it was almost as if the universe self-corrected. It came back around to being close to the scenario that we would have had if nothing changed. Granted, like I said it's from way back when I was a teenager. So, it could be _one particular issue_ did that and it stuck with me. Or perhaps a particular writer.🤷🏼♂️
Honestly I noticed that in the last episode, he sounded kinda... old. At least compared to episode 2. They might have recorded these in any order though, so it's hard to say for sure.

The ten rings that showed up in the original Iron Man was the actual 10 rings, this is a criminal empire that has lasted centuries and spans the globe, it has many factions, but they are all controlled (or were) by Shang Chi’s dad. Different factions of them have shown up in many other Marvel movies, and with the exception of Trevor and Killian (or whatever the hell the bad guy of iron man 3 was called) they were all legitimate.

Peter might have grown into a more confident/capable spiderman without stark coddling him (i know many people not happy about how theyve basically made peter ironman junior, keep in mind in the comics (and almost every other spiderman media) Tony isnt his mentor). If carols already on earth, she could inspire and cause new heroes to appear before infinity war i.e spectrum and ms marvel who are appearing in captain marvel 2. Heck, Tonys non existence could have somehow expediated the fantastic 4, xmen and 'insert any other marvel hero' appearance in that version of the mcu before infinity war. Also, most of the backers of the sokovia accords wouldnt be around to support it thus keeping the avengers united and possibly stopping thanos from ever doing the snap.
The point im trying to say is every action can lead to an infinite number of outcomes, some positive, some negative. Tony not existing would be better for some universes and worse for others, just like any other 'what if' concept. Darcy not existing could result in the universe ending, its that impossible to know what a small change can lead to. Plus, ultimately it comes down to what the writers decide.
no yinzen meeting his family he's probably still in that cave, no iron monger, no whiplash, no mysterio group effort since those people never got betrayed/hurt by tony and if they did tony's dead. no ultron, no suit of armor around the world, no meeting with ross about the hulk, stark industries is still a war/military operation no humanitarian efforts, aim left unchecked under the radar but gillian? can't get revenge on stark probable take over of stark industries, then there's hammer but meh on that one.
Damarin, they mentioned it being Afghanistan in the first Iron Man as well. War on Terror was still going on strong in 2008, no one was afraid of stepping on toes.
I didn't know there was such a pushback against the show. Although, I see a lot of generational issues where _audiences of a certain age_ have difficulty with episodic TV, where each episode is very standalone. And having spent most of my life with that kind of content, I'm okay with that.
I grew up with the *What If?* comics. While they didn't come out very often, they were the ones I looked forward to the most.
I haven't read one since I was a teenager, so I could be wrong on this. But one thing I remember about the old *What If?* comics from the 70s and 80s is that they would set up a premise (not too unlike the ones we've seen here), but by the end of the issue it was almost as if the universe self-corrected. It came back around to being close to the scenario that we would have had if nothing changed. Granted, like I said it's from way back when I was a teenager. So, it could be _one particular issue_ did that and it stuck with me. Or perhaps a particular writer.🤷🏼♂️

The ten rings that showed up in the original Iron Man was the actual 10 rings, this is a criminal empire that has lasted centuries and spans the globe, it has many factions, but they are all controlled (or were) by Shang Chi’s dad. Different factions of them have shown up in many other Marvel movies, and with the exception of Trevor and Killian (or whatever the hell the bad guy of iron man 3 was called) they were all legitimate.

Chaos might sound exciting when you're young and only responsible for yourself but I can hardly think of a scarier situatiion for my young son to grow up in than a deconstructed, scrambling for power, every man for himself type world. Rhoadey is right - changing the system from within is the only way to achieve lasting meaningful change. "Breaking" the system will hurt the most vulnerable among us
