Turn on Laptop Thinkpad T420 without Power Button

in this case, the keyboard cable fleksible was broken , so i figure out how to turn it on without keyboard .
you can use this 3 item
1. Cable
2. Cutter
3. Nail
etc.
and remember to touch the mettal side of the motherboard first ,if it not it will not gonna work .

Hi, bro. Thank you. This worked perfectly for me. I saw other tutorials that required the dissemble of the whole board and I just didn't have the confidence to do that. I don't suppose you know a more permanent solution to fixing the power button problem?
Sometimes holding Esc + Power works for me but only when it wants to.

@@farhantz6789 Yeah I discovered it was a keyboard issue after. I replaced my keyboard with a older one and found that the power button works on the older one and not the newer one. I've got a new keyboard on the way now.
