    iv been builled pretty much my whole school life. i dropped out in first grade!! i have not been able to go back since. The bulling is everywhere. I get it at my home, i get it on text's, facebook, everything. It is truly horrible and someone needs to put a stop to this. It is killing great people, and hurting alot more. Take it from someone who knows. It hurts alot.

    Bullying Should Be Stopped!! However trying to stop Bullying will no doubt raise tensions among some students. This may result violence outside of schools. I hope not, but I think things may get worse before they get better.

    @mozvideos1957 I am from New Zealand. I am glad you mentioned "Immigrants". That term is OK. It is the word alien I really hate. It is horrible. The country did have immigrants which displaced the First Americans.

    Shame on the authorities, and teachers off South Hadley.

    @marginallymental But I think what was most scary -- the teachers not just looking the other way, but participating, helping. There's a visceral feeling I get watching this. Watching the parents excuse it. I think bullying begets bullying. My kids would never do that, my students would never do that, and I don't mean they never would, I mean they never would TWICE... and the reason isn't because I'd say they wouldn't... it's because I'd kick the CRAP outta them and they'd be DONE after once.

    It stems from home how children act out in the world. Parents ask your selves did i do the best i could? Did i love them enough? Did i teach them right from wrong? Do i really need to be away from home so much? I s the toys and all the stuff they want going to show them all that is needed to live out in this world? too much dicapline? not enough? did i ask how there day went? we need to start now!!!!

    Bullying stems from the same source as racism, picking on the weak and different. To end bullying we need to reach to the children at a young age teaching them acceptance of others, equality to all. Sadly their are public organizations that encourage negative thoughts on others while having the mask of caring and peace... Generally its towards gays, but other cultures feel the heat as well. Mind set already there, taught to discourage one, easy to do it to others.

    Make sure that everyone knows the names and faces of every single one of those low-lifes. Make sure they are ostracised by society at every opportunity- deny them employment, food, shelter. Deny them everything at all turns, for the rest of their lives.

    I truly know this to be terrible. I honestly do blame that PARENTS, for not doing what a damn parent is suppose to do. Too many kids now are damn TOOLS. Go ahead 13-17yrs give me flack, for you have nothing to fear from the safety and comfort of this box. Im disgusted by this Im almost afraid to bring my own children into the world, for a fear of almost immense hate for the most pettiest reasons. I almost feel----

    The good news is we are starting to see more and more a legal precedent evolving where parents of bullied victims are able to file harassment charges against both, the parents of the bully and against the school system itself for failing to protect the child, and to seek monetary damages. Parents can document events, collect evidence (Facebook, for example is an excellent source,) and acquire witnesses, all of which can be used to press harassment charges against the bullies, their parents &

    How come Carl Walkerdid not get any news coverage? It has already happened before, why didnt they take action back then? Why wait until another kid commits suicide? And why was action taken after Phoebe Prince? I mean my heart goes out for her as well, but the fact that the news coverage did not spread like wildfire with Carl's bullying/suicide case as it did with Prince's.

    @marginallymental Oh completely... Yeah, my school had like 9 in my 6th grade class, but then combined a bunch of schools to do high school, so we had wooo, 200 in my high school. HUGE! But yeah, had like 3 families running the town, and they'd drink & drive & the cops would look the other way. They'd do horrifying things, students committed suicide often, and then their siblings would get bullied and made fun of for it... loveliness. And yeah, boys hitting girls, girls TERRORIZING others...

    @deere3321 No, you are absolutely right. That's why gang violence is non-existent today. They all realized the other side had weapons of their own, and decided it wasn't worth it. Ok then.

    Yes, good say but when you respond to internet trolls you only encourage them.
    The best thing to do in fact the only real way to combat internet troll, unless you're admin and can ban/delete, is to ignor them.

  • @yerk3
    @yerk3 13 ปีที่แล้ว

    @alritehaveit Violence hasn't "become" any more acceptable than it's always been. This is not a new problem, it's just now that people are beginning to pay attention. It also doesn't have anything to do with the "negative influence" of the media, this isn't happening because of movies or video games, this is happening because of the stupid cliquey pecking-order bullshit that has always made kids forget to act like human beings to each other.

    Im greatly sadden by this, if only we didnt look the other way while people were getting hurt, or raped or whatever the hell...America is nothing but cowards now...

  • @stillitlingers
    @stillitlingers 14 ปีที่แล้ว

    What great logic. And what would stop a crazy bully from shooting someone they don't like? Or even someone who was being bullied from shooting their tormentors? You think people would use guns wisely? Yes, we've seen clear evidence of that in the past (hi, Columbine!)

  • @Tcheera
    @Tcheera 14 ปีที่แล้ว

    The comment in this video that is silly "It's not just an urban inner city problem". On behalf of small town grads, "No sh*t!" Smaller schools have as much if not MORE bullying -- they have less diversity and are a lot more likely to have a lot fewer places for kids who are being bullied to hide from their bullies. You can't just go find another group of friends because there aren't enough kids to have groups. The same people are in power for generations & protect their basketball stars, etc.

    donkeypoo. You say you are against bullying, but are willing to keep calling me names. I suppose you do this to others also. Another thing. I am from New Zealand and we hate being called "aliens" by Americans. I feel sorry for Phoebe, as I know how she was treated. My daughter went to New York, and they said that they couldn't understand her, and they gave her a hard ttme as she was an alien. Anyway, Phoebe was not a citizen. She was also an alien, and made to feel it. Americans are horrible.
