H.H the Gyalwang Drukpa led 3 circumambulations with all devotees at the beginning of 2025.

Led by the Gwalwang Drukpa, the participants of 10th Annual Drukpa Council did three koras (circumambulation) of the holy Swayambhunath Stupa in Kathmandu, drawing the curtain on the five-day gathering that saw over 3,000 Drukpa masters, scholars, practitioners and dignitaries from the Himalayas and other parts of the world.
The final kora was followed by an offering of 100,000 butter lamps.
The Swayambhunath Stupa symbolizes the enlightened mind of the Buddha. At its heart, it houses a self-arising crystal stupa that floats in the air, an extraordinary relic formed through the blessings and aspirations of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
It is believed that anyone who circumambulates the stupa with deep devotion will recall their past lives, live a long life, have their wishes fulfilled, and become deserving of worship.

SwayambhuNatha Stupa Khora Sum! brings auspiciousness! The Khatmandu Earthquake of 2025 January 7th ( supossed to take place) was "transfered" to Tingri!...Tingri-Shigatse prefecture! They got it! Gyalwang Drukpa and disciples , supporters averted the SECOND 8.6 on Richter scale Earthquake of Khatmandu on January 7th 2025! Khora SUM helped!
The 100 thousand Butter Lamps saved 100 thousand (one lakh) of Nepali citizens and guests lives!
This is a great deed!
