I think there’s a mistake in 4:16 because there are two crotchets in a bar but the time signature is 4/4 which means there are 4 beats but 2 crotchets are 2 beats

Well spotted, but this is actually what’s in the part! You‘re correct that it is a 2/4 bar, but just for the one bar. Unusually, there are no time signature changes written into the score at this moment. (We’ve kept this the same as is written to give an accurate experience). This is a moment that has caught out many a young musician on their first play through! But yes, it is a bar of two crotchets.
