Hey I am old and I think there is no other wheel other than an old school. SS Cragger. Looks great almost should leave all the scars on that old Ford she is a Beauty. Wonderful job Brent.
Brent has serious talent here , video comes on around 2 pm , and I just met him here in Regina at the Swap meet car show. I hope your trip all went ok , It was nice to meet You and Ester , you folks are good people for sure yes I remembered more questions but you folks needed time to go check out everything there
Hit my face, with i dont know.. is this salsa? 😅😂😂😂 Happy Weekend for everyone 🥳 Like allways..thanks for great episode. Here in Finland we drink Vodka and Champagne now.
Thanks Brent for your simple but effective way of shortening the frame. Insted of cutting and welding a biquit style union, cut the factory seam is way better. I had to watch your comment a couple of times regarding to cut right before the seam so it slides in better. I have an extended cab so I have 9" to cut out. Keep up the great work on your show, Thanks Craig.
Don't take this the wrong way Brent, but your channel is beoming so predictable... Everytime you do a build the results are incredible! Thanks for letting us hang around and watch!
I came here from Bad Chad, I watched him for about a year, It was cool but in that time he never finished a project, he skipped around with many projects at once. He got a lot done get me wrong it was good but I really like how you work, you show a project all the way through and finish it. Every project is a show,a series of episodes, you're the best!
Maggie wheels, trim'n da rear frame dat a way, off with it's bed n frt clip too, rear-ended body mounts dun, lego body mounts up front wif speed holes n dimple dies, rad support front n center, Pablo's massage in da garage.
Brent your just great with building these cars. You see things we can’t imagine. But you do. And that’s what makes you a great mechanic and fabrication possible. Love it brother! Thank you for sharing!
Looks like there won't be much of a need for tall wheel tubs in this truck, and the way you are building it I would daily drive the hell out of this thing. The quality you put in your work is tried and true. I see another great build in the end. Kudos Brent!!
AS SOON AS YOU SAID GONNA LOWER IT DOWN APPROXIMATELY 31 minutes in backed up away from truck IT REALLY LOOKED GOOD WITH THE CRAGARS. IM A CHEVY MAN BUT OLD TRUCKS ARE OLD TRUCKS AND I LOVE EM. Especially (yes I’m spoiled like erbody else) TRI FIVE CHEVROLETS AND GMC’S 55-56 & 57 GMC BUMPERS AND GRILLS TO ME ARE FASCINATING
I am enjoying this cuz I have a 1950 F-1, from a farm in MINN. Had it for about 12 years, my whole truck is farm fresh green like your cab. Stock frame and suspension except new lowering leaf springs. I got chrome reverse rims from swap meet with staggered tires. I put a SBC with a B&M supercharger with a 700R4 monster trans, 8.8 F -150 rearend with ford performance limited slip and 4:11 screw with lakewood traction bars. Brings back some good memories working on it, pretty much done though. Mine has another front cab mount that bolts inside the cab on the floor along with the one you fabbed. I bought a tri flow alum radiator from Eastwood that is not as tall and works great, just had to trim that panel under the hood for the rad cap, so when you are looking from the front with the hood open you don't see the rad sticking up. I subbed and can't wait for the rest of the project. 👍
I like the way the front cab mounts turned out, I was trying to figure out your first version when you gave us the second. The old school rim add to the truck. Kind of a fun thought, if you have space to keep the old horn under hood and make it work.
I missed a few definitely going back to watch them! That’s gonna be one sweet ride when it’s done! Got to love them old fat fender trucks and cars! 👍👍 I miss my old 47 Chevy!
Brent, I feel this is going to be a nice build. The Ford Pick Up is so classic from my day and age. I use to see many on the farms where my family was from. I kinda noticed that if it was not for Miller Lite you would not have any templet making material. HA!
Shoot! Cab mounted down, front clip trial hung - and plans made for installing the engine after the box (relieve front rail and mount). [VRoom-vroom!] 'Ladies and gentlemen - welcome to the LS Swap Derby! Our entrant will be majorly built in 6 more installments!'
Thanks, always enjoy your videos. Nice work. Excited to see where you take this build looks like. Today's episode all the plans fell into line and things are going terrific, You get a lot done in a hurry! Great work !
Simply the very best, very experience, has a lot of knowledge! Can not remember him doing a bad job. Pablo is something to look forward to, never said a word but he steals the show. Thanks for the video, made my day.
Digging the intro tune, hot rod “conga line” lol. Man I miss my old 73 Nova hatchback with cragars, they look good on that truck though for sure! It’s coming along nicely brother. You do have a way of making it look easy, it’s quite the skill set, very impressive! Looking forward to the next vid😉. 👍🏼👍🏼from this guy.
That’s the wheel combo that I have on my 52 , I didn’t like them at 1st but they give the truck a late sixties look and now it’s grown on me . I drop the body mounts all the way around on the truck ..almost two inches and that gave it the lowered look and help fill in the wheel openings without having to any work on the dog house and lowered the step brackets so they would line back up . Love these trucks and your cab mounts 👍👍
I have always liked the style of the early 50’s Ford pick-ups. The just looked badass and more so with the wide tires and custom wheels. I am glad you jumped into another build right away…..thanks for showing us all your “Art”..
16:20 good job on that cab mount, Brent. I, like you, have went off on tangents designing elaborate mounts and such, then I step back, look at it, and think, what am I trying to do here? Then I pull a chapter out of my book and use K.I S.S, keep it simple, stupid. 😋
You always make this look so easy. It's like it is going together like factory because I think it looks absolutely amazing the way you work with that metal. That right there is years of working on these vehicles . Keep up the great work and God Bless you and your family .
Your work is really great. I love the "on the fly" engineering you employ in getting the job done. Plus you have excellent taste in Musak! Thanks for the fun watch, this truck is well on it's way to becoming another fine example of a halfass kustom.
The stance looks perfect! Simple mounts all the way around. I'm sure that the front bumper mounts will be just as easy. Great episode - as per usual!!!
Bonjour mon ami ... always nice (no pun intended) to wake up in the Cote d'Azur and watch your videos with my "Grand Mere" Coffee !!! Great content as always ... great idea on slotting the Rad frame holes and boxing in the Cab mounts you made. Bon chance Bro
...hi Brent...excellent design on the body mounts.....also really dug the filler music for the front body mount installation.....the one that sounded like Al Di Meola , or Return To Forever......I'd pay money to go see those guys live........cheers.....
Great video Brent. I always enjoy watching you fabricate and weld. I would be happy, just to learn how to weld. And I love the Cragar SS wheels. I honestly think that no other mag in the world, has made a bigger impact on the hotrod and muscle car, period. I have never seen a car or truck that didn't look better with Cragars mounted on them. And I can't say that about any other wheel. The only con (if there is one) is that chrome rusts, even faster if you live in the North East, like me. But still my all time favorite wheel. Just increased the value of that truck by about $5,000 Thanks for the video
Looks like on todays episode all the plans fell into line and things are going terrific , I'm sure you know what happens next LOL well at least for me . Thanks always enjoy your videos
Looking good Brent. I like the stance you created. Also built like a brick sh....house. Ha Ha always a pleasure watching. Much better than TV. Thanks Rich in NJ
Mr Brent, love watching your builds no matter what brand of car or truck... But I'd love to see a cool late 60's dodge pickup with the old hemi engine. But yeah anyways I'm enjoying your channel none the less
Well Brent, you rocked it again! You make it look so easy,,but we know it isn't! Sadly people get set in their ways . Some never search outside to find a hobby, this here is a great opportunity to learn! Great job Brent 👏, great content and great video! Shout out to Pablo, he's well liked by all, thanks and God bless, jim
You have given me so much inspiration as I put my '56 Packard Clipper on an '81 caddy frame. I've stolen ideas galore from your builds. I'm always fascinated how you resolve build issues.
