I haven't found I needed to completely frog a project very often, But, the max I will try to restart after frogging is 3-4 times. Depends on how badly I want whatever I'm trying to knit. Love your sheep friends! They're so cute!!! I got the Magpie Fibers Celestial Advent this year, too. I chose the Dusk option for the main skein, it's a deep teal color -- so beautiful! Really liking it so far. I like the combination of yarn and other goodies in it, especially when the goodies are things I might not buy for myself. I'm really interested in the stitch stoppers they included. I haven't started the project yet because I'm also doing Tellybean Knits' Merrymaking Cowl MKAL with a yarn kit from Lolodidit that I want to wear for Christmas Eve at the in-laws this year. So, I'm trying to make sure I don't fall behind on the daily clues for that before starting the knit pattern that came with the Magpie Fibers advent.
I'm liking the stitch stoppers so far, but they'll really be put to their test once my shawl grows. I haven't tested the smaller one yet, which seemed a little looser. I'm interested to see where the Magpie yarn colors go. The description said that the Dusk version had a "richer, moodier look," while Dawn was a "softer, more contrasted one." With the colors so far, dark teal seems like it has more contrast. Maybe the colors will deepen as the moons progress? I just looked up Tellybean Knits- they have some amazing colorwork patterns. Um, those Fishkins Mittens?!?
