@Allow me At this point, anyone would be better than Jason behind the drum kit. He's overstayed his welcome for far too long. 20+ yrs. in the band and he STILL SUCKS. The guy just doesn't rate. Time to give him the "Spanish Archer" (a.k.a. El Bow).
@Allow me Just cause seeing live shows is off the table right now, that still doesn't change the fact that the band might still be working on their new album(s). If this is the case and if rumors that this album might be the last ever they make, it will be a sad and sorry end to this iconic band to have such a lackluster drummer as Jason Cooper play on it's swan song album.
@Allow me People have been criticizing, not simply "bitching" about him for decades and that was my whole point - that at *_THIS_* point, *_ANYONE_* would probably be a better fit for The Cure than Jason. I never did, nor am I now "holding my breath that he leaves. I know he's not disappearing anytime soon. Robert seems to keep him onboard it seems, to piss people off but, he's not doing anyone a favor, least of all himself or his band. In my opinion, the band began to lose itself when Tolhurst left. After that, everything else seemed to start falling apart.

"Forever" has never eben released in any form. The only known studio version is from a Peel Session in 1982(?). Nevertheless "Forever" has been played numerous times from 1981 on, mostly as a jam coupled with "A Forest".

The whole recording was sent to Robert Smith and it took more than a month to have it mixed. Then 1,5h of the concert were broadcast on radio by german FM and TV-Station NDR, something like a local BBC in northern germany.
