I absolutely love the True Confections by Sara Fox series and I thought much the same as you did for the Dublin Driver cosy series. If you want to read a cosy set in Ireland, I really enjoy the Irish Village mysteries by Carlene O'Connor (I think there are 10 in the series so far). My scare/thriller threshold is pretty much non existent; I am a total woose. I really enjoy your videos xo
I felt the same way you did about the chef cozy mystery. The lunches part was really cute but they could have had a sweeter not hotter romance. I’ve read that in other genres but like to keep it lighter in cozies.
I read the True Confection series in February and I loved it too. The second book was even better in my opinion. I love Sarah Fox’s writing style so much that I read 2 more of her series in March and April. They are Pancake House and Literary Pub. I loved these series too. Pancake House is my favorite then True Confection then Literary Pub. I will continue all of these series if there are more books. I also read Resort To Murder by Annie McEwen and enjoyed it.
The Right to Bear Charms... Or whatever the first book in that series was called (Denise Swanson) was the same way... I liked the book but I was surprised 😨
Stay clear of Scumble River then.. the subject matter gets very dark. I call it “edgy” or “gritty” cozies. Denise Swanson just doesn’t have your typical cozy writing style but I personally enjoy her writing.
I just ordered Six Sweets Under sounds good! Thanks for the recommendation😊 always enjoy your videos
Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy it.

I'm a teacher too. There aren't enough hours in the day. But I will read all the books in the summer.
Seriously. So hard to fit in! But it is a nice escape from thinking about school. Almost summer! 🌞⛱️
Hi Margaret! If you like culinary cozies, I write the cheese shop mysteries. I just found your channel and am enjoying it! 🧡🧀
Oh wow! Hi! Yes, I have heard of your series. I will definitely try to get to it soon. I love culinary cozies :) Thanks for the kind message.

Same! I'm not completely opposed to that kind of thing 😂 but definitely didn't expect it in a cozy. Plus it was too insta-love for me.

Yay! That's awesome that you loved them. So excited about the 2nd one. I will definitely have to look into her other series.
I DNFed Dead In Dublin... Too political .. we get enough of that in real life 😂

The sundown motel was good by Simone st.james
Thank you! I will check that one out!

Ohh, good to know. Thanks. I have read a couple that were sort of on the edge of cozy and a bit darker. Not sure how I feel about that style.
