The former isn't. Even imagining what it would be like to have sex with a person isn't wrong as long as you wouldn't actually do it unlawfully. The proper definition of lust is given by Paul as basically coveting(desiring to possess, typically unlawfully, what is not yours) in Romans 7:7.

It seems like they tried to solve a problem, that no matter what you tell to teenager, no matter what he tells you, you can't read his thoughts. And he can lie to you and do whatever he wants. So they made a rule, that god knows all your thoughts. So you wouldn't even think about things that elders don't want you to think. It really solves the problem usually, but aftereffects are anxiety and bad social skills. Elders don't care about that, as long as you did what they want while you were young, so they expect you to be the person they wanted you to be. They don't go through things that you will go through, like anxiety, low self-esteem, depression and etc. So, as adult, you constantly try to fight with those things, go to therapy, take pills and so on. You understand now, that there's no god, that always looks after you, it was just the method to affect you. But now you forced to fight with it till the gray hair. It is fucked up system, that has good intensions, but horrible aftereffects.

Having left religion at age 59, I was surprised to see how much less stressful life is. I don't have to worry about the things we do that just makes us human and I don't have be judgmental about others. It's great I wish I had known about this in my twenties.
Well that's definitely an interesting story. Most people either lose it young or stay cemented in it for the rest of their lives. But to leave it at 59 is different. Can you do quick synopsis on how that happened?

At age 50, I took a deep dive into the rabbit hole that was LDS church. I also did a lot of study into Biblical history. So long story, short, I'm done, I am a lot happier being an agnostic.
Catholic grade school til the 8th grade. I can confirm her lecture on what "the" sin is. Also fun fact, 2 kids asked for absolution right then & there in the cafeteria.
Hooked on Taylor: timing, pauses, stories, transitions, facial expressions, body language. All the things that I want to learn/do in my purely amateur routines. What's interesting is that her humor and laugh lines are very different than those of the "Boomer" generation. I'll be fine, thank you, as long as I never, ever say: "When I was your age ..... " Rock on Taylor!
