Hey nice for you ! Awesome that you found one brand new in 2023 !
You can only watch this video. No need for another one. If you have problems during the install or questions, you can ask them here or on the XDA Forum in the video description. You just have to know that with installing Android 13, you may not be able to install the google Apps. For some it seems to work, for others no. Otherwise, it's awesome as a content tablet !

i did it all, including partition thing, and gapps, doing magisk now

i had issues doing the partition, i didnt have /tmp folder but i was able to place the partition zip file into the twrp folder, i got an error saying it wasnt able to get it done. any ideas?
@@chris103193 unmount everything but cache and then copy file to /tmp otherwise it will say disk busy, i wouldn't recommend putting gapps on the tablet, i did it but google play services is too much for it and makes it slow and unresponsive.
I jus want smooth working tablet with all the normal Google stuff. Which version should i be looking at. I jus care that's it's higher than android 6. I need revanced TH-cam to work again. So far, that is my best option. To flash a higher operating system. Idk if 13 is a great idea. I would figure it takes up too much resources. But what do i know. Cheers n thank u my good sir
Hi, Android 13 with Lineage OS works pretty well. I just didn't achieve to install the GApps. So if you absolutely need them, try installing Android 12 with Lineage OS that should work better with the GApps I think.
The installation method is exactly the same. You just need the files for Lineage 19; here's a quick tuto : www.getdroidtips.com/lineage-os-19-nexus-7-2013/

I've been trying to enter into TWRP recovery mode on my Nexus 7 (2012) model for a few hours. I can't figure out what's taking so much time. Anyone pls help me out if possible.
I don't know but it's not normal. Did you try to combine what I did in the video for the 2013 with the specificities of the 2012 found on the forum?
@@TechNbags yes, I thought this guide could help to install Android 13 on my Nexus 7 2012 but later, I came to know that this guide is only for 2013 version. So, I undo what I have done to my old tab. Can u suggest a video guide to install Android 10 on my tab? Ig Android 13 may not be fully compatible to run on an Android 5.1.1 tab.
My Nexus 7 2013 have some random turn off issues. And I don’t know what could be a reason? I saw articles where Google replaced units whit that issue to the costumers, but the support have long pass. Any thoughts what could be a reason for random turn off?
Sounds like the common & notorious battery cable issue. Pop the back cover and make sure the battery ribbon cable is seated properly. Also, it's laying there loose, not secured other than with the connector, putting some electrical tape to hold it down so it can't move can also help prevent it recurring. Plenty of videos on this on TH-cam if you want to see how.

On 3 ) in the part of "ADB (Android Debug Bridge) has started but tab is waiting for authorization.
On tablet, authorize adb commands from Allow USB debugging dialog: tap on OK. " , nothing happen on the tablet. Next i try to use the command "adb reboot bootloader" , and this appear " error: no devices/emulators found " : Can someone help ? Tnks !

Did you launch the command windows in the right folder, like I the video?
make sure you write cmd in the write folder, it will highlight the folder name and then open a cmd prompt into that specific folder is where you need to be.

It means the Gapps install did not work. It happens. Either you absolutely need the Gapps and you try reinstalling or you install some third party store like Aptoide or other.

@@MyTechEye ah yes, this works only for the 2013 version. I have 2 Nexus 7 2012 and the latest you can put is Android 7. I did it but have not filmed the tutorial.
