Love to see Ron play some 9 ball with the likes of Efren , SVB and maybe the Pearl again. The crossover stuff is always entertaining. I know they wouldn’t have a chance on the snooker table of course .
I've noticed that we see videos if snooker players crossing over to pool either exhibition or competition but are there any videos of pool players trying out snooker? I gather there aren't as pool players most likely aren't good enough. That series where Ronnie goes to America and plays that pool legend who was regarded as the best pool player ever. Ronnie played him and was up on games and the pool player you could hear moaning away and coming up with excuses. I believe Ronnie felt a little sorry for him and allowed the pool player to win
World class players can adjust to any game. Give a world class 10 ball player a few months on a snooker table and they do well. Check out mizerak vs Steve davis. Mizerak wasn't even the best pool player at the time

It’s interesting how you can keep your cool fitting a real game, just as you were practicing! That’s key for a champion player as yourself, control the stress and pressure of a real game, treating it as practice.
I once met Ronnie down my local Snooker club in Harold Hill called the Grove My friend had a friendly frame with him he broke off ,then Ronnie proceeded to pot every single ball on the table making a 147 playing this guy is like playing against a machine I can honestly say I was in the presence of greatness. 🤩
My highest ever break in snooker was 34. After watching this I went to the snooker Hall to practice. The snooker Hall was totally empty. I managed to get a 147 straight away. Unfortunately there was no one there to see it.
@@gordonanderson2011 yes these things happen. In fact only the other day I got another 147. I would have had a recording and uploaded it but they forgot to press record on the camera or something.
Amazing a Man in this Calibre who shooked his opponents due to his non stop practices , 'Once in a Blue' You come across quality Pearl in the Mid of the Ocean. God Bless others too.
I love this sport. My mother and her boyfriend use to run the con club, in Hay on Wye, back a good few years ago. They had 2 tables upstairs and I use to go up there all the time and play and practice. I use to line all the red balls in the middle of the table from top to bottom leaving spaces. I have not played in years and don't have a cue anymore. I was only a beginner anyway. My left eye is weak from birth and I can not read or recognise people's faces. A lazy eye. My right eye is still quite good at my age of 41. The strange thing is I was right handed but I could still take shots using my left I use to practice that alot too. You should learn to use both feet and hands in all sport it goes a long way especially when you are young and still developing.
Saw ebdon practice once in Edmonton London. He chalked his cue for 5 mins.
😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
5 minutes? Thats remarkably short
Lmao!!
That's how he get elder, chalked his cue for 5 years?
