    Tell your mom: she is ABSOLUTELY hot enough. Sure, she’s REALLY good looking- not even “for her age”- she’s just good looking in general; she’s physically stunning, well-groomed and well-dressed- but more importantly than that she’s kind and poised and driven and educated and successful.
    Hearing her tell her story a while ago was really inspiring. Choosing to change her life path and chase after her education and her business while also having a family, after most people would have given up on ever thinking they would be able to do something like that, is so incredible.
    Your mother is a woman to look up to.
    Hot? Absolutely. But more importantly, she’s inspiring. You are so fortunate to have her as a mom and a mentor.
    I genuinely love seeing your mom on here. She really has so much going for her and she gives me something to look forward to in my own life- that the best can still be yet to come.

    I was burnt out over 5 years ago and I kept pushing through and it led to chronic fatigue syndrome/ME...I'm still battling to get my health back!! 😢
    It's super important to ease back on everything, do gentle exercise, prioritise healthy food, rest, self care and good sleep. Calm the nervous system with meditations or such like ❤ naps are good if you need then too 😊

    I know I'm hitting burnout when little things start to bother me. Like overstimulation. Also when I'm tired all the time. Or when I can't focus. When I feel like that I just watch a comfort show, take a day where I stay in my pjs, nap, eat snacks (no cooking or meals), lots of water, read, do things that fill my soul.

    When I experience burnout, I generally do less (but still try to go an acceptable job) at the things that are burning me out. In my personal life, I try to take everything slower and spend more time outside.

    I totally get the exhaustion sometimes.. honestly just have to sleep it off. Also absolutely agree on the husband comment 😂😂😂 you look soo pretty❤😊

    Sending love and hugs your way, Rachel! I so appreciate your honesty and the vulnerability you expressed. When I get into a "funk" or am burnt out I also try to slow down, focus on my quiet time with the Lord, and sleeping habits. When those things are not in alignment they can really mess with how I'm feeling. I think that giving myself grace is also really important. When I'm being hard on myself in shows in my attitude and my overall mood. I hope that the weight is lifted from your shoulders soon. P.S.Happy Birthday to your mom! I really liked how she was also really honest about how she was feeling... It goes to show that we all struggle with some of the same things, and that none of us are truly alone in what we are going through. 💛💛

    Happy 50th to your mom! My mom turns 50 next year and I turn 26 this year, so we are very similar in ages, and you're motivating me to eat healthier, which has been a struggle because of my many allergies, but we're getting there. Sending lots of love to you lot! ❤

    You are not alone. Burn out definitely hit me this past weekend. Nap after nap with no cause for being burnt out. I guess it’s life just telling us to take it slower. I also noticed that hay fever season is approaching in the UK and I would always get fatigue from the pollen returning xx

    Six years ago (about three years in to my career after college) I had to go on sick leave for four months due to burnout syndrome and a acute stress reaction. It’s taken me several years to get back to some kind of balance and while I am doing well now it’s a constant balancing act. I agree with you Rachel, self reflection and self awareness is key. In addition I think setting boundaries with other people, asking for help and saying no to some things (even if they are fun!) temporarily to allow yourself rest are some important lessons I have learned. I hope you feel better soon Rachel! I love and look forward to your content every week but if you need to take a break, please do! ❤

    For the sweet potato thing, my blood sugar spikes from regular sweet potatoes. I use chickpea pasta like banza and I do well.

    The Carb Balance tortillas have some carbs but much fewer than the regular ones but they taste normal. The zero carb definitely taste different.

    i appreciate you being vulnerable and showing your life when you’re burnt out. i struggle with it a lot working 8am-4pm 5 days a week with a commute of 1 hour to get there and 1 hour back home. it feels like you don’t have time for much. i spent $160 on a vlogging kit a few weeks ago and haven’t used it because of how burnt out i feel and didn’t want my first video to be depressing.

    I start slowly feeling more fatigued each morning even after sleeping well when I am getting burnout..its important on my days off that I rest more/relax/ and have balance (for me that is spiritual God time, exercise, and playing in my art journal to reset)

    I’m a very positive and kind person, so when I start feeling snappy or aggravated for seemingly no reason at all, that’s when I know I’m burnt out.

    Sweet potato noodles can't be whole grain because they're not grains, also steamed sweet potato might have a medium glycemic index, I'm saying this based on steamed potato and btw the same book says that regular pasta cooked al dente has a low glycemic index and well cooked medium glycemic index, so not bad for any of them 😊.

    I know when I'm reaching burnout when a thought of doing one single thing makes be cry like there's no tomorrow. I just feel hopeless and completely drained that I don't wanna think or do anything. The thing I try to do when that happens is listen to Christian music, it fills up my heart knowing I'm not alone and whatever I'm going through at the moment won't last forever. 🤍
