Natasha is amazing ..I train with her in NY...and she is currently a level 6 preparing for her FQI level 7..I've learned so much from her as an assisting instructor...this may sound redundant but is worth repeating..She is absolutely amazing
GM Bobby is one of the Best Masters out there. He is patient and carrying and he trully is a legend. A treasure to learn from. If you get a chance to learn with him do it. If you get a chance to learn the system learn it. You will learn something about yourself when you do.

He added a few upgrades and instructions then she absorbed it up very well, slowly then gradually picking up the pace until its natural to her. She will eventually gain strength and speed and reflexes and all will be natural to her a few years time.. Great teacher and student..

Don't know how long she's been training ..her name is Natasha and she is a Level 6 now (blackbelt equivalent) and is an assistant instructor preparing for her level 7 FQI status. An amazing teacher, well on her way to FQI soon I am honored to train under her helpful guidance along with head instructor FQI Carlos Jiminez..in NYC
How well do the skills with the stick translate to empty hand fighting skill? What is the importance of the stick if training for self defense as most people will not generally be carrying a stick with them everywhere they go, and being empty handed/unarmed will be the most common situation?
No martial art is betteer than the other....its all about the practioners ability to use what he knows. Arnis however does ahve an advantage over empty hand systems because it is weapons based and weapons are taught first. regardless of how effective ones empty hand skills, it is useless against a bladed weapon

This looks very effective for girls. Men can over power them so likely anything they can do to inflict damage close in is best option.

Looks to be almost like wing chun with sticks. Lots of parries, counters and traps
Stick is an extension of your hand, same concept and style will be be applied without the stick.
the stick becomes your hand... the knife and stick and other weapons are just extension of your hand...
