Mr Ghosn is the BEST automotive CEO alive!. Besides, Elon who is really a Tech CEO as such. If Trump has any sense, he should ask Mr Ghosn to run GM becuase that current lady is running it to the ground!. Note: Some side channel mentioned during the initial Nissan days, the US Govt asked him to run Chrysler!. But Carlos said, he is already committed to Nissan, so turned it down.

At the moment we travel around China and here are all the cars that are EV!!!
    No way for Nissan!

Full support on Carlos and he was accused for nothing but a made up story. It was an inside job using hostile judgement system failure of Japan.

As a Tunisian who lived in Japan years ago, I was very much proud of Mr Ghosn (fellow Phoenician 😊) and heavily inspired by him. The accusations by the Japanese authorities made no sense to me and others from my community, and rather opened our eyes to the corruption of the Japanese juridical system. Personally, it was one the main reasons for which I decided to never consider Japan for a professional career, despite of having the option, and just be content with getting a degree there.

Carlos, what the Japaneses "old boys" have done to you was and is INEXCUSABLE. I agree NEVER forgive them!. Not the French Government as well as they owned a stake in Renault at the time. Thus your shareholder!. In any case, you are the BEST automotive CEO alive!.

26:09 and I forgot Nissan was one of the first ones to bring in a commercially viable EV! It’s so sad, and ironic to see them fall behind so much in this race today. But I guess they had it coming.

Carlos Ghosh is a genius indeed and in my eyes a hero. Always believed in his innocence.
As an EV fan and user since 2019 I do see Renault as the most fun and best pick for an EV that started with the Renault Megane E-Tech that shares the Nissan Ariya platform and is strange that it's not being highlighted. Now Renault has car of the year 2024 with the Scenic E-Tech and the relaunch of the Renault R5 E-Tech that is filling up order books like crazy so Renault is doing great. How come the partnership did not find success for them both? Does Renault have the fast engineering with battery technologies with the new solid state ones that are going to make drastic changes that will happen in the future 2026 / 27... that will have batteries at 50% cost reduction, up to 1k range & charging speed within 10min?

Greetings from China. I recall the period when Renault established a new manufacturing plant in Wuhan for the production of their Qashqai equivalent. At that time, Infiniti vehicles were also popular among consumers. Even today, there remains a dedicated following who appreciate Infiniti's naturally aspirated and Mercedes-Benz-sourced engines. While Nissan now offers the Fairlady Z, it is not available for purchase in China. I am uncertain of their current strategy, as they seem to focus primarily on entry-level utility vehicles.

Carlos Ghosn is arguably a victim of persecution driven by a culture entrenched in outdated pride, unwilling to embrace pragmatic leadership or listen to a voice of reason. His vision, though controversial, was focused on innovation and global competitiveness-qualities that Japan’s automotive industry desperately needed to sustain its relevance. As we can see from current developments, this resistance to change has placed the Japanese automakers on precarious footing, risking the loss of an industry that has been a cornerstone of national pride since World War II.

When there’s a crisis, there are opportunities. The Chinese made EVs maybe ahead of the curve in technologies, as well as their strength in sourcing rechargeable batteries. However, Chinese OEM‘s are still lacking in many areas. For example, in pricing, marketing, distribution, channel relationship management, as well as building the right products catering for the European taste. No doubt, the Chinese are a disruptor at this moment. No different from the Japanese being disruptor for the Big Three back in the 1970s. This disruption, will make the legacy OEM’s stronger and better and slimmer. With a fighting chance dealing with the labor unions. On the flip side of the coin, Chinese OEM’s may not be as efficient as they appear to be. They are also loading themselves up with unnecessary headcounts. This may eventually burden themselves with over cost. Carlos also mentioned about the subsidies from the government. Imagine if Trump was able to “convince” the Chinese government to removing these support, will the Chinese OEMs be able to survive in the real world?

Why? Ate you afraid he will scam another company ?
You seem to be so ignorant about his story.
He is a gift to the car industry, and can make miracles to any car manufacturer.
He will possibly be asked to help GM, or VW. But not Nissan or any Japanese manufacturer.

I truly love the Land of the rising SUN ☀️, adore the Japanese culture and their way of life & their respect to mother Nature, But iam shocked to see the lack of that respect Towards Humanity through the measures of the Justice system!
For that i can say that it is not CORRUPT, but most probably an old tradition that has been laid aside....! Justice is sinply delayed, and i firmly BELIEVE IT WILL BE ( better late than never) to give justice an honest and honorable VOICE to be Heard among others .
I pray 🙏🏻 God that the Japanese authorities reflect on this law, and at least give the opportunity for people to defend themselves before throwing away the key 🗝️.
As far as, there are HONORABLE people in Japan,
Justice will prevail before the end of the road.
Life is truly too short, to leave a bitter taste in the eyes 👀 of those that love Japan, Especially those that have never been their, but dream to experience Justice ⚖️ in the eyes of their ancestors, always measured, fair and balanced.
May God Bless the land of the rising Sun 🕊️.
