One great counter to those leveled super arclights is leveled EMP marksmen of your own with elite and range upgrades. Marksmen are a direct counter to Arcs, and the emp sniper disables the balls from spawning crawlers.
I ran into a dude running a doom swarm of uber pimped out steelballs. My mass of stormcallers almost kept them in check. I immediately went to unit modification for the emp upgrade lol
I love how you landed on the exact sniper build that I use. See, I have the complete opposite philosophy to you because I always want to understand all the little things and theory craft before I even play, so when I see someone do something creative with all those parts of the game, I go "Oh, I know how you did that, what counter did I theorize would work for this?" And half of my game time is spent staring at the intricate systems and putting together my "master strategy" that I then stress test against the world. I am more meticulous with unit placement, creating this whole symmetrical grid pattern that leaves spaces specifically for other units to have a future place available. For me, the fun of a game comes from the refinement of my formula, adding on to it until it can account for everything the enemy can throw at it, then I get bored and leave the game lol. I have never seen your approach to games before and as much as I hate it on a personal level, I admire the meta-formula of reducing the scope of a game just to its basic parts and then adding in another part as it becomes needed. When you come up with the same answers I do it makes me reflect on how in life there are many paths to the same conclusion that are equally valid. Thank you for being you and respecting yourself enough to put your foot down when someone else tries to change you. I think that's awesome and I look forward to watching you master the game in your own way.
Big tip for anyone: Let Mechabellums OST play on loop in another Tab. It's crazy how much this music matters. Edit: Now that I think of it, this is actually pretty cool... if you have no music Day9, then I can play whatever I want lol. It's pretty dope
fireupgrade on the stormcaller would be good vs the balls..but biggest miss was triggering the anti air upgrade and then buy air units...just more tanks, some good storm caller placements and then 2-3 fortress with shields
I really like splashing units in this game. Like if you see that the opponent started with 2 units that lack anti-air, i make a single air unit and then 1 of my normal units
I honestly think elite specialist is just completely overpowered. Its essentially giving you 100 extra credits every round. Might want to give it a go if you havent yet
There are bots. They're fairly decent and the hardest bot is around the average player skill. Obviously they won't be a challenge for someone that takes the game more seriously, but they're fun. It's definitely worth the $15.
If the game looked fun to you why would't you just try it before you say no to getting it just because of multi-player?? You might be missing a fun experience
Did you get claimed by the Mechabellum devs or something? That would be utterly ridiculous... This game does *not* have the kind of traction to start going after people.

Yeah, EMP Snoopers are really good to counter teched-up big stuff. I think they have enough range with the elite upgrade, though. Gives ATK as well!

you should mod your snipers, give them the ability that increases their ranged and damage per level. it makes your snipers gods.

The music was obnoxiously repetitive, but without anything in the background it feels so wrong. The music causing demonetization is so silly.
