David Nalbandin one of the smoothest ball strikers in tennis history, and possibly the best 2 handed backhand ever. He made tennis look so smooth and he moved so well even though he had a large frame. He lost I believe a couple Slam Finals, but he won the ATP Tour championship finals by beating Roger Federer in the final! A great and deserving achievement!
i watch this video before i go hit every time... it helps sooo much. this should be the main angle for all televised tennis matches!

Yes I agree! Everyone says Agassi, and of course he had a great backhand, but Nalbandian was just a touch nicer it was a thing of beauty!

I never get tired of watching Nalbandian at his best (like this video) -- we all can learn lessons how to set up the points, from David's incredible tactical game.

He did all GS semifinals and managed to stay top ten 10 years, these are not poor achievements. However, Wawrinka, Cilic managed to win GS and I dont think they were better than Nalbandian, so you have a point in that sense.

David está entre los grandes. Es valorado, pero debiera ser más valorado aún. Yo en lo personal lo pongo entre los 10 mejores de la historia en cuanto a estilo, técnica, mentalidad de juego y factores alternativos al palmarés.

@HenryTheJoker Yeah i agree. I mean Nalbandian has some of the smoothest strokes on tour, maybe even smoother than fed! He has the ability to be number one for sure, its just a question of can he get into good enough shape before the end of this year to do some serious damage.

That's a pretty bold assertion bro. You're saying a man who never won a single grand slam EVER can beat men who have who 17 and 12 respectively? He caught bad luck? He caught bad fitness. If Federer didn't take his fitness seriously he wouldn't be a champion either. Nalbandian is an AMAZING talent but saying his max potential is higher than Fed's is ridiculous. He has 300 weeks at No1, you think that was luck?
