Thank you so much for sharing this!! it was very helpful and I was wondering if I could use the onboard credit for the choose the cheers package before I boarded
Yes, you can but the drink package prior to embarkation day with your OBC. Just remember, you have to purchase it for everyone over 21 in your cabin. Thank you for watching.
I understand about OBC, but you did something in this video that I haven't seen before. When you chose a future cruise and clicked on booking details, you were able to go someplace on that screen to "view balance details." I don't see that when I'm on that page. In fact, mine never even shows "Paid in Full." I thought perhaps it's only visible with certain browsers, so I tried it with Firefox, Microsoft Edge and also Chrome. It didn't show up on any of them. Do you know an alternate way to get to that next screen? Or do you have any idea why I can't see it? I realize of course that you're not here to be a computer expert, but I thought I'd ask anyway in hopes that you might know this. Thanks.
Once you go into the cruise that you booked, go to the top of the page and click on "booking and order details". That will bring you to the screen that shows a picture of the ship and and a picture of your room with the passengers and your dining time. Scroll down a little and and right above your cruise companions, you will see balance details and it should show you in big letters "Paid in Full". Click on view "View Balance Details". That will show you all your charges and your onboard credit is at the bottom. Hope this helps.
@@partyoftwocruising Thanks Patrick. Unfortunately my screen doesn't have that on there. I guess I'll call Carnival tech people. Have a great cruise and win big!
Can you use your onboard credit for Faster to the Fun? We have a small $50 credit. This will be my wife’s first cruise and my 3rd (all with Carnival) but it’s been 20 years since my last one. I now live in Ohio (used to live in Florida) so we will be driving 12.5 to my moms in the Jacksonville area for 2 days, then driving 3hr to Port Canaveral. With all that driving, it will be nice to have priority boarding and all the other stuff
Yes, for a 4 day cruise it’s 89.00 out of Tampa. You can use the 50 onboard credit and put the rest on a card. That 89.00 is for the entire cabin, not just one person.
Booked on Princess got wifi, tips, drink package incl and have $250 onboard with another $100 pending (so $350). I will have fun, not much of a shore person. Cruise was only $700 plus tax for a week
After you take your sail & sign card out of the machine, you will see the credits on the machine go to 0. The money you had in the machine will go on your card. Just go to the casino cage and tell them you want to cash out. They will give you the cash that was on the card. You will sign their receipt and that’s it.
It depends on the ship. I’m on the Paradise right now and they give you cash because the system is not set up yet for cards. The Mardi Gras and Celebration put it on my card. When they do that, you don’t get any points until you have ran that free play through the machine once. If you play table games on those two ships, they give you fake chips and as you play and win, they give you real chips for your winnings.
Yes, but if you charge it to your room; they will charge you a fee. Better to put it in a slot machine, pull your card out and cash that out. There is no fee then. Well, for now anyway 😂
Awesome. Thank you. using my discounted AARP gift cards. Paid $450 for a $500 gift card. If this works, I can gamble for 10% off. Or just cash out. Shhhh.
Not sure why they won’t let you pay before you cruise, but at the end of the cruise if you leave that in your onboard account, they will automatically take it from your balance. You can however go to guest services and remove it if you want, but it would then go back on as OBC.
@@partyoftwocruising I am going leave it on there as you suggested. I have been able to purchase the 12 pk of water and dinner at the steak restaurant and I will be purchasing a massage once on board as I feel the price is to high online.
@@louisesteuer0610 just make sure you check your balance in the hub app. We sometimes spend more than we thought with both of us using it. I will usually buy a Carnival Cruise Cash card for 500.00 so I know I have plenty. I hate coming off with a balance charged to my card. Have a great time and thank you for watching.
Thank You for explaining that 👍 1st time cruiser after a cancellation
Thank you for watching
My pleasure 🥰
Damn I wish I would’ve known this before going to my recent cruise but now I know and keep coming to as a refresher for my next one
Great information! Thanks for this video!
Best explanation EVER!

Wonderful tip on how to take OBC home with you!👍

Amazing Patrick. I am going to go use my OBC right now
Thanks for watching and you are so welcome, hopefully it worked out fine. It's always worked for us.

Are you guys on the Magic in December this year?
No, December we will be on the Pride out of Tampa and the Paradise also out of Tampa. We go on the Magic for an 8 day to Aruba in November.
Very helpful information, thanks. But, I don't understand how to get cash out from the casino cashier - can you explain this again please. Thanks

If you have freeplay do you download it from the sign and sail card on a machine/table?

@@partyoftwocruising thank you. I’ll be on the sunshine out of Charleston.
I read somewhere that you cannot use onboard credit for spa days until you are on board. True?
That is true, you can only buy a spa treatment or day pass on the ship, but you can however use your OBC.
Can you do the same with a cruise cash balance?
Yes, Cruise cash is your money, do as you want with it.
Can you get chips at a table game? Using your example, “I’ll take $500 in chips.” Gamble a while then go to the cage and cash out.

@@reggiethecommenter9137 that’s a good move. On the Vista right now, can’t win anything since the first day.
