Would you say that an common gemstone is worth hundreds of dollars?
Well, you'd be surprised how expensive such a small stone can be.
On the outside, it looks like an ordinary stone that most people would pass by without realizing that it's actually a valuable stone.
To give you an idea, this specimen sells for over 360 dollars.
And as common as this stone is, it can also become a high-value gemstone.
In other words, I'm telling you that many common stones that you find out there can also be very valuable gems.
For those of you who have never hunted for gemstones, this may seem surreal, but don't be fooled, many people come from abroad to explore these stones here and end up buying them at good prices. What's more, in terms of probability, it is easier to find a rare agate than to win the lottery.
Who knows when your lucky day will come?

Hey how are you..I have some minerals on stone's that my grandpa found back in the 1930s and I have a great collection I understand what some are but not all of them can u help me identify.
The problem is how to sell stones without being manipulated by dealers.
Beautiful! We recently bought our dream retirement ranch. 400 acres in the Texas Hill Country. This land has been undisturbed other than occasional cattles. I love flint, flint nodules. I know they are common but I love them. I started finding ro cks that are roundish and get up to almost bowling ball size and the outside looks like it was once covered in some kind of marine life but that covers the whole thing so I don't know. ANYWAY, my husband brought me one that was broken and i7ts amazing but I can't identify it. If you took a very clear light lavender crystal and some how got it melted and boiling, so that this formed liquid bubbles, spheres, blobs and flash cooled it, that's what these look like. Or maybe a bunch of light lavender marbles that got soft and all stuck together. I don't think some rare zillion dollar cache of gemstones. I think it's beautiful, so it has value to me. But what is it? Driving me nuts and I can't evem find a picture of anything similar. Anyone who can point me in the right direction, would be much appreciated.
Very beautiful,I love them.
I know my day won't come in the uk as we dont appear to have much to look for 😢
ok now if I had beautiful gemstones like That i wouldn't care aboutt he value but I would just care about keeping it
#800th Like on your Agates Video 🎉
You didn't credit Agate Dad from 2:42 on. Pretty crappy of you to steal other people's videos and work without giving credit.
Hoping to have some content where you can sell your gem stone
Hi people how are you ? I also do have stone Tourmaline, ruby, blue aquamarine, agates garnets, citrine and many more I'm looking for a market.
I feel have found so many stones around my city but I not a expert soodont really know for sure but all these look too familiar!!
How rare is the stone ( mineral?) celestine...are they blue or yellow ?
Where can i sell them
I'm from Louisiana where can I sell my agates
I have a 14.7 carrot uncut ruby from north Carolina. Plus other gem stones
I would love to eat your carrot
what about New Zealand agates?
I find lots of moss agates
Fossiled fruit?
Is that what. It's made out of all way s wonder
Agates are not comparable to diamonds, emeralds, or rubies in value at all! Lol
😅 And that, right there, exemplifies WHY the terms, 'precious' and 'semi~precious,' should never be used to indicate a XL family. There ARE crappy diamonds, rare varieties of very low grade tourmaline, and DYED, and or heated corundums (rubies,) that, in my gemmological opinion, are only useful for study value; or your driveways.
Don't get hung up on varieties of stones, it's very much the level of quality.
@@c.thompson9771 yes but an agate will never be the same value as a diamond or whatever that is of high quality. Is what I’m trying to say
Right? Laughable!!!!
Looking for market that pays good price so we can keep working
@AgateDad , his TH-cam Channel helps many cut their teeth. Great inclusion!
I doubt it
These agates are pretty but personally ill stick to Black Opals from Lightning Ridge Australia I also have some crystal and white opals from Coober Pedy. Thanks for the video, very informative.
You can put any price tag you want on an object. But where are you gonna sell it? What is the guaranteed market?
There is absolutely no guarantee you can sell them. Those that sell Big beautiful geodes worth $40k and higher. Typically sit on them for a long time. Also finding outstanding specimens is pretty difficult for an average rockhound. If a person is a Beginner it’s even harder to find a low quality “gemstone”. Lastly to make money you would have to have a store or be viral on social media. Finding buyers is hard for the viral rockhounds. Also some states it’s illegal to sell rocks that is found unless the seller has a clamp or mining permit.
@@SissyMchill1 - I appreciate your answering my questions.
Odd that I only now received notification of your comment, 2 months after you made it.
Every time I think I have TH-cam figured out... I don't.
Also, I think the real fortunes for these type of videos are in the number of TH-cam views the content creator is able to amass.
@@kentneumann5209 I have the same issue with TH-cam not notifying me, months later. Heck sometimes not notifying me at all. I also think “I have this figured out.” But nope 😂 stinks
I believe some that make good money on this subject, rocks. But it is those that make jewelry and do it full time. The big rocks in the 30k rage are sat on for awhile. Those are typically being sold by people that claims in multiple states or a huge claim. Basically a big company that can afford to sit on the funds with big price tags.
I'have it, how to sell
Agate Dad isn’t absolute favorite rock hound. He does amazing polish on his finds/purchases.
The AI narrator is ridiculous! I wish people would just use their voice or some othe real persons voice. This crap is annoying. People that don’t know rocks will pronounce agate’s as Agat(A)s🙄
Maybe ask for permission before stealing peoples content lol
I'm new here on TH-cam and I'm still learning how to use the settings, I'll be asking my subscribers to subscribe to your channel in the next video, I'm sorry if this has inconvenienced you in any way.
I thought I recognized those hands. And bands!
Show me anyone that pays decent money for polished agate, and I will show you a polak. Take your meds.
People pay $800+ for sneakers and ripped blue jeans, and spend even more on 1 night of dinner at a restaurant. It would not surprise me at all for someone to pay a lot for a beautiful gemstone.
What your Racces and stupid Dumb😢😮😮😮😮😮😅😂😅😂😅😂
