Haha, had to laugh out loud when I saw Ariel turn around with that big grin on his face. Surprised to see him in this video. He's been buying rare Japanese toys from me for a couple years. Wish I could have visited the USA for Power Con. Great video :)
I am always amazed that people will spend large sums on loose figures. Its one thing to pay a lot for a sealed/carded figure. But I've noticed loose MOTU figures, not in great shape, going for hundreds now. Same with TMNT. I love the old toys, but I think Origins will scratch any MOTU itch I have for a long time and I won't even have to mortgage my house to collect them lol.
Totally agree. That kind of thing amazed me even back in 2010. I also get that something like Wondar is a different ball game too! Carded is still very worthwhile though. We're all so different as collectors. No right, or wrong way to collect at the end of the day. 😌
The odds are they will, they are doing a Movie He Man for origins so will most likely use the original style laser power Dolph lungdren head sculpt as it can be used for other figures as they will then have the tooling. This is a Mattel tactic if they can make more than one character/figure from the same moulds etc they are more likely to make that figure. Hence why we are getting Anti Eternia He man as it is just a He man re paint.
In a strange way, I am jealous. You have a lot of toys to get into. I got into the Masters of the Universe franchise through the She-Ra reboot by Dreamworks and we only got one wave of dolls that quickly faded away and never got more. So we're all still in the dust here.
I'd forgotten that you only had room in a backpack for purchases. That must've been like torture! It's funny how different all we Masters collectors are from each other because none of the ten selections you would've made would interest me! Crazy, but it's true. Don't worry, there was plenty of other things I'd seen in this vid that would be on my own list. Thanks again for the great content. 😊
A laser light Skeletor mint loose will run you about 2500 and the same for the heman. They are hard to find mint. For a totally busted up one you’ll pay 500 or more
Thanks for the cool video. You could have always bought something and shipped it back home. My aunt ships from Canada to the USA when she comes to visit and she buys stuff. I am hoping that some of the vintage prices drop as Origins stuff comes out. The new Masterverse stuff looks good also. I would have picked up the KO Wundar for 80 bucks, its not that bad. Its just plastic and paint. The mold is still the same.
Nice I picked up some grails Alan Oppenheimer’s autograph on a Skeletor action figure and the classics He man movie line. I only have 20 more figures to go to finish the classics line. Good video
Can somebody share the name of the shop where mr Ariel sold the 2 Giants Please !! I was going to buy some stuff from his booth but I forgot to get a business card from him !
look raul el pelon or mad hunter, they have videos with ariel, and ariel its a hardcore collectionist, he had street shark, motu, tmnt and lot of things. just look and search thats videos

10K for two figures... That´s crazy, that´s soooooo crazy. I hope we can see those in the Origins line. Greetings from Finland!

It wasn’t bad, but I want the real thing in my collection, but totally get if people want to go for that.

How much was that naked laser power he man?
It was 450
@@GeekDadLife fair...on ebay I'm seeing around the same price but conditions not so good. That one looked pretty sweet
El precio es muy alto, mejor es tenerlas abiertas, jugarlas y pagar hasta $5,000 máximo por ambas.
Wish i lived in the USA, we dont get anything like this in the UK that i know off
I don’t know about UK but there’s a big one in Germany I think (I also think is a quicker trip than my east coast to west coast one)
Holy spit Skeletor!
Wow ...times like this you wished you had an bottomless wallet lol !
Cool video, any Leo figures
Not that I saw, but there may have been one tucked away somewhere.
I wouldn’t even want the giants. They look horrible. The laser power figures are awesome though
