aww thank you! they're coming along but definitely not good enough to move to the floor yet. my coach tells me if i do a thousand of them eventually the timing will just click... a thousand is a long ways away lol
Nice video, Em! I loved so many parts of it: nailing your back flip at the gym (thrilled face!), seeing your apartment come together, sinking shots at the bball court (we need to get you an inflated ball), your Christmas shoes (!), and seeing how fit, strong, and happy you are.❤
i love the area! it helps that we don't have to go anywhere too far tho 😅 traffic would be a nightmare if we were still commuting to work. can't wait to someday have you over and show you!
I love the calf montage! I'd also love to try your exercises as a replacement my lower body calisthenic workouts I've been doing. Seems waaay harder than Heather Robertson.
oh I don't know about that. Some of heather robertson's videos are crazy difficult! But I do miss training with you! When you get less busy let's start up our socially distant workouts again!
When watching your backflips in the gym, run to front salto, even the box jump on the lowish bench seat, I thought your vertical jump was sufficient for a back flip on ground. The back flip in gym would be crisper (look better) if knees came closer to chest and did so quicker. That would make you rotate faster, giving you more drop time. Ideally you want to complete the rotation at the highest point of the jump then drop to ground with a straight body, like being on a trampoline. I'm sure you could do this on a trampoline mer early by pushing off and not jumping. Anyway I'm 64 years old remember, not a trained coach or instructor of gymnastics, it's just the way I see it. When I waas young, like you, I taught myself. So when my rib injury heals (Yes being stupid again) you have inspired me to recover the front flip from 40 years back. I began this morning by jumping on and off those low wooden barriers you see around parks, while out jogging. Good luck.
oh no! i'm sorry to hear about your rib! what happened? And yes, I agree with your back tuck assessment. Getting a backflip is easy, getting a crisp backflip is super hard!
@@emmaogilvie8679 Stayed on a wave too long, got dumped in the shallow water. Automatically rolled so the head didn't hit bottom (that's the trajectory I was on) and the left arm got jammed hard into the rib cage popping a cartilage or intercostal muscle. Worth noting the automatic roll was due to all those somersault as a kid and many years of Rugby League.
Oooo I also love Juji and Tom!!! But your flips on the tumble track are so good!!!

That deflated basketball warm-up was something else man. Congrats on hooking a new subscriber.
I almost couldn't find my basketball and used a stick instead 😅 desperate times haha. Glad to have you!

thanks, mom! this was the best review ever! 🥰
Your new appartment looks so nice! So clean already, you guys are moving in machines! Do you like the area, now that you've had a chance to settle in?

so... how low do you go??
"Someone broke into my house and stole a limbo stick. How low can you go?"
Sorry for this one. I can go low with niveau only.
@@xxfennyxxrockz4133 that's rock bottom, my friend 🤣🤣
Hence my answer to your question should be "the lowest".
