It was great! Not so much traffic up that end too so nice and quiet and safe for kids.
If you don't have service you'll find people walk up the dune next to the site and can receive and send messages or make a call too.
We liked it because you have quick access to the beach for a swim and we'd go out and have a cold dip every morning but still protected by the wind.
We also found we'd just drive the car round onto the beach on decent weather days that we wanted to spend the whole day there, so we could have our awning and fridge.
