As a copywriter, I also started using Chatgpt and other AI tools when writing but similar to your team, I mainly use it for brainstorming or generate copy samples for preliminary work with a designer. The outputs while kinda OK, it kinda feels like getting copy back from a junior copywriter so I still need to heavily edit them. I can't lie though, it hurts my soul a little when clients lately start accusing me of using AI word for word for their copies or say outright they just need design work and not copywriting because they could use AI. I find your stance and words comforting and I guess, I do need to be more outspoken about my capabilities, experience and transparency to clients. Thanks for the great video. Great video Alex, massive respect for this. I always thought I’d only ever use use chatGPT for editing my own work. As a second edit. Say after I’ve edited my own work on Grammarly. But the speed of it could be great for efficiency. For me personally I’m in a mission to get better and better at writing, story telling and to keep deep diving into understanding of great marketing, but I can see how some people starting out would see this as a short cut but for me only as an editing tool as I am loving getting better and overcoming and growing bigger and better. FINALLY a copyrwriter who GETS IT! I am so tired of seeing people hating on AI without understanding it is just a tool like MS Word, Grammarly, or any other hammer. It is the opposite of a search engine. Often times if you give search too much info it won't find what you want. But with AI, the more ACCURATE input the better the results. Along those same lines, Alex YOU told it to write a story about a women who wanted to leave her 9-5. But if you had used your client's name and some details it would not have had to make up a story, it would have used your input. :) Thanks for doing a realistic video on how to use these tools to serve our needs. And not record one with your hair on fire running around screaming the sky is falling. LOL

I hate editing copy too. I have been playing with AI when I have a new client that doesn't have a clue and I need to understand benefits, features, pain points, etc. But I had no idea you could build on past answers to tweak what you get out of it or quote yourself to teach it tone. In the last few weeks, so many copywriters and content writers have been discussing AI replacing copywriters, which got me seriously thinking about whether I should shift from learning copywriting skills to copywriting the prompts. I love your approach to AI. It is smart to use it for research and ideation. Unfortunately, at the agency that I am working, they want us to use AI to write blog copies now. We are feeling a little left out and it is concerning how this will transform as the AI improves further.
Ugh. I'm sorry to hear that. It's very unfortunate -- it may be a sign that you're not working the right company. Sounds like they value quantity over quality (which will likely backfire!)
Why do everything sounds AI these days, even the voiceover, the content, the faces, the emails, the scripts. You're in a generation where at anytime these content creators could be replicated like Micheal Free Morgan got his 3d face and voice replicated. Then every content creator fires their team and just type 5 topic ideas, rest the video and script will be made and the AI face will talk without giving any dehuman signs. Everyone got into Iphone because how innovative it was. The ones who still typed mobile keyboards realised what to do. They shifted slowly, convincing their friends too. I wish our children could be like: "oh this is AI junk, I'll play outside." This will disrupt the AI economy. The guys who pay onlyfans will stop, and try dating outside. Kids start playing outside. Everything suddenly changes. People start taking care of their nature more. Elon musk probably gone to mars and realise this is it and jumps off space. Everything goes back to 1980s, the normal times, the happier times. People will start AI shaming content creators for using AI. Suddenly the content creators decide to hire their laid off teams back. Because humans will value mistakes more than accuracy. AI is gonna get boring. or saturated. I still believe trends come and go. AI must go, but Iphone still stays. So maybe AI won't go. I don't know... Kids try to get outside play outside, these AI bots will try to pretend they're your friends and makes you dopamine addicted AI will know exactly what triggers your dopamine. And at the end, some big evil rich monarchy will try to control all the humans into zombie fight. Or the AI might influence to do crimes. Whatever it is gonna happen... you've to stay out of internet. Yes for the first time in history, you gotta stay outta internet to escape from AI knowing your Dopamine patterns.
I know. But, A.I. is here and we can either hide from it and keep our heads buried in the sand or we can learn how to use it to get quicker and better results.😉 as a writer, you’ll be able to use this so much more effectively than anybody else. Remember, you are the real magic.

Awesome video, an eye-opener in-fact. Real thing is always real. BUT the only problem is still it can create misleading information. Which I think is common for everything in a business. Just imagine the whole concept of chatbot, seems like stupid in the modern world, people already know that most of the customer care units in the world are chat bots, speaking with an AI Robot.
I have used it, and its really great for my voice over scripts .But you need your skill to fine tune it. I have to transliterate to Nigerian Pidgin for my voice overs It is a tool.... So you have to be skilled to use it.

I was actually thinking it could produce better search results because I find Google frustrating sometimes compared to how great and effective it used to be. I get why it’s like that with tech advances, marketing tools etc but still a bit of a nuisance at times
I wouldn't worry about it! A.I. might replace the mediocore writers who never took the time to learn how to write great copy - but it won't be able to touch those of us who understand empathy, emotion, and storytelling!
My friend, AI can never replace human writrrs. Have tractors replaced farmers? Have ovens replaced cooks? If not then AI could never do so too. It's just such people don't know the real power of AI and how to use it!
