Nigeria is a place where fools lead intellectuals; Buhari a chronic illiterate used forged certificate to become President, likewise Tinubu, an ex-convict drug trafficker used fake birth cert and fake school cert to become president, yet the Judges and Professors who took bribe and put him there expect him to grow their economy

I spoke to a friend of mine 2 years ago. We were class mate but God helped him to escape Nigeria situation long time ago. I described how I have tries many things but it didn't work out mostly because of Nigeria situation, but trying to get back is even harder because of hard economic reality. When my friend replied, he used a word to describe Nigeria. He said ' Nigeria is a principalities and power standing against its own people from excelling' So what Kemi said is absolutely experience of an average Nigerian.

Kemi got it wrong big time in her first sentence. Nigeria is not a POOR country at all. In fact no African country is poor. What Nigeria and the rest of Africa lack are good ethical leadership with a proper vision. Nigeria has the most intelligent people in the world. If Nigerians can get a good leader and channel their intelligence and effort towards the general good (instead of dodgy deals and scams), wow the sky will be the limit. I liken it to a father (President) who is a Farmer and Children (Nigerians) with Farmland (Nigeria) planning for planting season on their farmland.
If rice is planted and harvested, are you saying the father will sell off everything and then request the children to go feed themselves or keep some to feed the family and sell off the excess to buy the things they don't currently have but need them?

The Nigerian government's ways of seeking relevancies everywhere trying to hide their incompetencies has lead them to the wrong place with kemi. Kemi and countless other Nigerian who were denied basic living and who had to flee their beloved country would never forgive the Nigerian government past and present because of their incompetent and bad policies. The best thing now is to stop looking for relevance from successful Nigerians who fled for a better life elsewhere and start working on bringing the economy to the level of other nations that have learned to use its resources to better its citizens. Now you should know that it will be rare for the Nigerian government to find a kemi-like Nigerian who will allow you to promote your incompetency simply because he or she has a Nigerian heritage. You can't rip where you did not sow.

Kemi just speaks our reality in Africa, so don't blame her for the misses and mistakes the African leaders are doing, not only that the Western leaders control the market, and now what? The African leaders need to find out what is work for Africa and find out what causes inflation. Another thing we are not being paid like the Western countries neither do we have investors that are willing to invest like in the developed countries. So Africa needs to find a business pattern that works for each African country with its people. Eliminate corruption and mistrust. These are the chronic diseases the African leaders are suffering from. Taking the funds for the country development doesn't work or cover the costs with the little what people have doesn’t cut either. Is the Devil's chair in Africa or what? God gave us common sense. My Nigerians people are very intelligent. They need to figure out what is good for the country and the people. No one takes the material things to their grave!

What is good for the goose is good for the gander. So if the British government for decades encourage & support criminals as leaders & religious extremists to un-life millions in the 60s & the same support continues till today, it is only fair that GB taste their own medicine. What goes around MUST come around.

Defeatist argument is a mental slavery. 90 percent of the politicians weren't only born before independence but participated in the struggle and have read more history about interest of foreign governments in Africa especially Nigeria. So, what's remaining? What remains is the moral strength and truth the black man would never embrace. He complains and when given a peanut he changes overnight. He delights in enjoying alone while the rest live in darkness, poverty and ignorance. No British power is telling them to approve security votes and squander them. No foreign power is telling them to be moving with 20 vehicles at the same time. No British power told senators to assign millions of naira cars for themselves. No British power tells legislators to eat constituency allowances. No France says that after spending billions to build hospital in Aso Rock the president still flies aborad for medical trips. We create corruption and blame foreign powers just to feel less guilty

I take issue with your analogy of a diasporan building a house in Nigeria. In reality, a diasporan is actually in a more advantageous position when the naira is devalued, as their foreign exchange can purchase more naira, effectively increasing their purchasing power.

What's your argument? Does it really make sense?
If the Naira has good value, does it not mean to you that as you spend less of it, you have better value for what you buy.
Or you do not understand that when you have inflation, you are simply telling us that more money in circulation is chasing fewer goods, thus making cost of living very high and expensive?
      Abeg, reset.

I couldn't agree more with Kemi Badenoch's view of Nigerian system and their anti progressive idiosyncrasies.A country that wilfully destroys her people and their aspirations is not worthy of being described as one.Countries and nations exist for the welfare of their citizens and not that of the leaders alone as it has been the case in Nigeria.

kemi is seeing things differently from other Yorubas because she married a white man and she's a leader of a party in the UK! Ask other yoruba people in the UK about their views in Nigeria you will hear them praising and hailing tinubu

If Peter Obi said such, they will call for his head. The truth is universal, in Nigeria and in UK. Acknowledging your sickness is the start of the treatment.

Obi is living in denial. He’s the same one who went to dobale for Babngida in his quest for presidency, hanging out in the churches of charlatans like Enenche and co. Can’t take him serious as a moral contender. I’d rather listen to Sowore, who’s been at the forefront of speaking about the reality.

They keep giving the Nigerian custom unbelievable revenue targets, who inturn overtax the importers, amount they'd have used to pay duty for 3-4 containers will be paid on just 1, the importers inturn hit the market, where poor Nigerians bear the brunt of inflation.

Let us believe that the Federal Government of Nigeria is doing Britain's bidding like Zombies... What about the corruption that goes on from State Government level downwards? What about the Criminal & Corrupt nature of our Country's entire security architecture, the Civil Service and even within ourselves?? Is Britain responsible for these that I mentioned and many more? 😳
