Thanks for the vid. My calls have been cutting out whilst I have been teaching on google meet. I read somewhere that I can adjust the video quality to possibly help minimize this. Do you have any idea how you can adjust the video quality?
I have seen how you can do it using a laptop, but the iPhone seems to have different settings

I just checked and couldn't find any video quality controls in Google Meet on iPhone.
All the tips in the official Google Meet guides are for when you're joining on a computer: support.google.com/meet/answer/10620583?hl=en&ref_topic=7290455
I guess that means there is no video control on the smartphone versions.

Google Meet is it's own app on iPhone. I wouldn't know how to have an app overlapping an app on an iPhone. I don't think that's possible.
Please can you tell how to enable bacground changer in iphone its not appearing in iphone but appears on my android device
During a Google Meet call on your iPhone you'll see a tiny little background icon on your own video tile. Click on that and change the background.
If you don't see that icon it's possible that your iPhone doesn't support that option. It works for me on my iPhone 11.

I'm guessing it's not available for your iPhone version. As said, for newer iPhones it works.
How can i mute the speakers in google meet on IPhone Xr im able to turn off mic and video but cant mute the speakers ! Any thing for that ?

Please make sure that the account you are using has the ability to mute others. Not every type of Google Workspace account can mute others.

Make sure that the Google Meet app on your iPhone is up to date. Each version of the mobile Meet app is supported for 6 months after release. If your app version is older Google Meet won't work correctly.
If that doesn't solve the problem them report an issue with Google: support.google.com/meet/answer/7291340?co=GENIE.Platform%3DiOS&hl=en
I think the only way the share screen could work and come into play is if you have an assistant who can share the screen whilst your boss speaks. When we were in office I had to type out notes or even click to different presentations for my boss so this isn’t too far fetched. :)

I wouldn't know. Google says Google Meet doesn't offer all features on older iPhones. I could imagine an iPhone 7 qualifies as older.

You have to first download the Meet app from the App Store. After that it will be on your home screen.
I don't know if your going to see this but if I leave the app to go on let's say google docs will I still be able to hear them?
Yes, you will still be able to hear them even though you're in Google Docs.

The Google Meet call should still be active in the background. But in any case I suggest you test this in advance before trying it live during a call. 😀

Here's the thing, I have a Google Pixel 6 Pro. I would like to be able to use my Google (Duo) now Google Meet, to communicate with a friend (singular) that has an iPhone.
It would be just between myself and my friend. Not a "Group Meeting" persay.
As I have been able to do with others that also have Android Phones.
Would that be possible ?
If so I would appreciate you instructing me how.
More to the point, be able to tell my friend how via Her iPhone.
She tells me She has other Apple Devices - an iPad, Computer, etc cetera.

You can use Google Meet with Google Pixel or iPhones. It doesn't matter.
All you have to do is either schedule a meeting in advance or create one ad-hoc. Find out how here: support.google.com/meet/answer/9302870?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop

How to change background?

Please note that you need an iPhone 8 or higher and iOS 12 or higher.
Is that the reason why my google meet doesn’t have any filter cause I’m use iPhone 7 plus :(

I don't know. Are you using an old iPhone model? They don't work properly with Google Meet.

Did you screen share from your computer?
If so you have to "Share a tab". Only then will the participants hear the audio track.

Sharing of a video with audio is only possible on the web and not on smartphones.
