That poor QB for UCLA, the kid had to run for his life on at least half the plays they ran. I hadn't watched Utah until last night (it was the Featured game on Fox) and their defense is scary good.
Same here. Not much of a Pac-12 viewer and this is really the first time I have checked them out. The number of take-aways they got here is incredible. Obviously UCLA was out-matched but how many take-aways did they come away with? At least 5 or 6. I didn't catch their running back's (or running backs') name(s) but they look really talented as well.
They’re literally Georgia but with an offense lol
Zach Moss is the running back. He's from Miami area Florida, originally was going to play at Miami but came here to Utah instead. He's had a great career, new career rushing record holder at Utah. He and Tyler Huntley (QB) played at the same high school too, they are both doing really good.

Public service to everyone on the East Coast who is asleep during their games and just checks the score the next morning: the Utah Utes exist and are really, really good. (Also their one loss to USC is looking less and less bad, not only did they barely lose, but the Trojans are a very solid 7-4 now).
@Bradyn Lawrence I'd love to see a 8 team playoff (you could make it work with scheduling if you eliminate conference championship games and have the team with best record win, or a series of tie breakers if two teams have the same record). That way you could have the 5 champions of the traditional 5 BCS conferences in, in addition to 3 at-large bids (which could go to either other Power 5 Conference teams or to a team from a "lesser" conference like the Mountain West or the American, if a team wins out and is dominant enough to deserve it.)
Utah is playing their best football at the right time. Showed UCLA who the tougher team was leaving no doubt. A Utah vs Oregon PAC 12 championship would be great.
Oregon vs Utah bouta be a beauty. I’ll be upset if we lose to Utah but I’ll still root for them in the playoffs

Damn if UCLA's quarterback keeps it up he's perfect material to get the job as the Chicago bears QB. His only downfall is he can make 10 yard completions to pedestrian receivers and we can't have any of that in Chicago, but I think him continually making bad choices when under pressure will make up for it

UCLA is such a mysterious team. It begins the season at 1-5. For the first time in school history, it lost to San Diego State. It then racks up 3 straight wins, including a win over Stanford. Then it gets crushed by Utah. LOL... I guess they'll either be slaughtered by USC next week or come out with a huge victory!
I'd love to see Utah in the College Football Playoff but we can't have nice things.
There are some scenarios that I think could get them in. Unfortunately their destiny isn't in their hands and they need a lot of help.

@@jza80king Well, I am definitely no authority on the PAC-12. The concerning thing for them IMHO to get a spot is the rank they have right now. They won this game confidently but UCLA isn't going to give them a major bump. They need a win that is going to make them pop and I don't think they have that lined up right now in Arizona or Colorado. They will need to find some help from their PAC-12 Championship opponent or find it elsewhere with some top 6 losses.
@@dacypher22 yeah I just feel that whoever wins the PAC12 (Oregon or Utah) should/would slide into that 4th spot.... Only time will tell though.
@@jza80king Definitely. Really I feel it was a mistake to have started the playoff system with only 4 slots when there are five Power 5 conferences. It really needs to be expanded to the top 8 ASAP so we can stop having left out conferences. It isn't Utah's fault that the PAC-12 has fallen on some hard times. I'm not even a Utah fan but I feel it is incredibly unfair to penalize the elite teams in the PAC-12 for the records of other teams. But that is essentially what is going on. The playoff needs to change or every year a conference at the least and sometimes even two conferences get left out.
Boy that UCLA offensive line is HISTORICALLY bad. If you set up some end tables and lawn chairs in front of the QB they would provide at least an obstruction against a pass rush. Not even division 2 level.

Grayson F Utah made this combination before Ohio state. Utah used these in 66’ while OSU introduced them in 68’. So it’s like a Tesla/Edison type thing.

They had the more dominant win comparatively speaking than Oregon I was hoping they would leapfrog the Ducks in the polls. Oh well. Just win out. Arizona is the trap game don’t lose focus boys!

You would think UCLA would be better than Utah. They are in the middle of the most talented players in the west, have the money but can’t get it together.
I understand his line was Swiss cheese tonight, but somebody gotta tell DTR to throw the back away sometimes. A couple of those plays he thought he was madden’04 Mike Vick, but he wasn’t.
That being said, Utah looked good. Especially on defense.

UCLA is so not good. QB will need extra practice doing tackling drills for when they turn the ball over. For UCLA, getting to the red zone means a turnover is coming and definitely not a touchdown.

How is Utah ranked #8? I just looked at their schedule and they literally haven't played anyone.
Zachary McClain some preseason bias, but they’ve also dominated everyone they’ve played (besides USC).
No one? The pac-12 is full of teams studded out with 4* and 5* recruits. That is why the conference feasts on itself. Look at the ACC, Clemson faces no one and they are a lock in for the playoffs. Look at Alabama, they played 1 good team thus far and lost. This is why Utah is ranked as high as they are. The only loss coming to USC, a team full of 5* recruits at every level.
@@neverbackdown1918 Dominated USC but lost to big plays on a Friday night in LA. Still a loss, but one that if you looked at closely, isn't a bad loss at all.
