Bruce is a wonderful person . He's deep, intense, funny, and he can laugh at life. He's so interesting and enjoyable to listen to. Great man. Great music.
The coolest guy ever. Saw him in concert in75 , and knew right then he was headed for greatest. Am 69 now, and my only wish is that my husband and I could afford to see him on Broadway.
I'm thinking that a guitar across his body and his fingers on the string calms and focuses his creative mind that must always be churning so that he can focus on the interview. Just my thoughts. I totally get that!!!
I think I know what you mean, but Bruce IS smart as hell. You have to be smart to write those songs.

***** I agree. To me it seems he's still trying to balance being so loved by the public and remaining humble. It seems he knows very well that he is talented and successful but still struggles with how much attention is payed to him. Success and fame, in my opinion, becomes truly difficult when you can be recognized in public. Example, take the band U2, how cool is it to be Larry Mullen Jr,, the bassist. He's in a hugely successful band, earns an assload of money, but can go anywhere and not be asked for autographs or disturbed during dinner

Hope I finally get to see you in person in Florida. You make me dance & feel like I can do anything
How great it is to listen to an interviewer when the person asking the questions isn't always interrupting. Good stuff.

on any given evening...when the lights go down...you have an opportunity to pull magic out of the air!
he's subconsciously writing a song on guitar during this interview.
