I think I'll still prefer the F-16C just because of raw aerodynamic performance, good pilot interface, and more manageable workload (certainly when compared to flying F-15E single player), but the F-15E will definitely be top dog as far as combat performance; at least until Eurofighter is out, and even then the F-15E will have a lot of roles it's vastly superior in.
Fun fact: seeing this I admire Jane's for doing an amazing job in a 2D screen way back in the 90's. It was very faithful for its time. Also, when NotSo changed the mode to A-G, that symbology of the GBU-10 on the HUD brought back so many good memories. Very eager to fly the Mudhen again.

Not So, send our congratulations to the team. This is one of the reasons this module is taking this time to get ready. The Strike Eagle is an attack aircraft through and through, so inputing points, routes, alternative routes would be the Wizzo and Pilot job before entering the target area. I listened to a B-2 pilot interview and he said that a big part of the job is updating target coordinates on the fly, while communicating with the Pentagon, etc. I imagine that the sane occurs with the Mudhen. Very eager to have this module.
Look.. once this comes out, DCS is going to become "F-15E simulator." Just like KA-50 carried the franchise for about a decade.. then the A-10C. This is a monumental module.
Yeaaah nah I don't think. Although obviously a lot of people will buy it.. but it's not going to get the F-14 folks out of the Cat or the F/A-18 Folks out of the Hornet. Besides that the Eurofighter is being made and will set a whole new Meta for A/A Combat so there is a lot of toys to play with and the 15E will just be an addition to the 16 in most Squadrons. It is a monumental module tho!

Damn, honestly surprised how hard you guys are working to make this a a serious upgrade over previous Razbam products. A UFC releasing near 100% functional and complete?? Unheard of for y'all in the past. I'm impressed. No pre-order from me, though, but not because I'm in any way suspicious. I just can't reward that model, I've been burned too many times on that stuff. However, when the reviews turn out to be good (which I'm pretty certain they will), I'll be buying it a day or two after release. Seems like we're gonna have A/G functionality from the start - that's a pretty big step up from previous releases, and well worth rewarding. I really hope y'all can meet my expectations, since right now, I'm feeling very hopeful after getting a half hour of instruction on the UFC alone. I learned: to make a steerpoint a target point and designate that target point for bomb release; *all steps done in the UFC keypad 1. Press MENU 2. Press Option button 10 to enter the steerpoint menu 3. Key in the number of the steerpoint you wish to make a target point 4. Press Option button 1 to select it for editing 5. Key in the steerpoint number again 6. Press the . Key 7. Press Option button 1 to save it as a target point 8. Press menu 9. Key in the number of the target point you just made 10. Press the . Key 11. Press the Option button 10 to designate that target point for bomb release. You are now designated with a bomb fall line on that target you made out of a steerpoint.
Please release soon so I have time to learn it before school starts up again :( (jk take your time love ya'll and what you're doing, my $80 will be there regardless)
Question, is the F-15E capable of inputting MGRS grids directly into the navigation system? Seems like a simple answer but I can't seem to be able to find a singular answer for it.
I can't accurately answer this, but there is a UTM line in the Steerpoint sub menu....I know that's not exactly the same but it seems possible...maybe even likely that MGRS will be functional.
F-15E doesn't have hard divisions of labor between the crew the way that aircraft like F-14 or A-6 do. In F-14, ONLY the RIO had access to the radar. In A-6, ONLY the BN had access to the radar and precision bombing equipment. But, in the F-15E, the front seater has duplicates of basically every control and display the back seater has. I think there was some electronic warfare stuff only the back seater has, but almost everything is there in both seats. The presence of the back seater allows you to split the work load, it does not FORCE you to. In real-world operations, generally the WSO works the radars and targeting pods, so the pilot can focus on flying the aircraft and avoiding threats instead of staring at the sensors. But the pilot absolutely can control the radar and targeting pod from his MFDs.

teasers means they're pretty close to release. They have an MVP target and just need to get enough things working and iron the bugs out before they can release early access.

There is a reason people watch other TH-camrs tutorials instead of waggs videos. Don’t bombard us with 10 acronyms per sentence like waggs (you haven’t, just saying) And for the love of G O D don’t copy the nonsense idea of leaving start up videos for last like a hype thing that the module is almost near. It may work hype-wise, but it also makes sure that NOBODY understood a single thing up until this point.
pleas RAZBAM make this plane easy to play for those with no HOTAS ... i dont mean make less detailed and easy to play ... but i mean to make easy to bund the keyboard and mouse controls cuz i noticed some modules that doesn't support the mouse at all ... so pleas dont make this mistake
@@RW-zn8vy it's what i do .. i fly the modules with mouse and keyboard ... although i dont own any i only flew few as free 14 days trails "not long time to learn the whole module" but i find my self flying with no big mistakes so i guess when own one and be able to fly it as i wish i'll get even better and there are some videos showing how a player can do it mwith mouse and KB
