If anyone happens to be curious about the irelia 1v1 @9:35... some quick math: level 12 irelia with 178 ad = 74 bonus ad. Passive at lvl 12 gives 48 + (0.25 bonus ad = 18.5 ) = 66.5 magic damage on hit, and 60% attack speed. gold value of 60% attack speed = 60 aspd * 25 gold/aspd = 1500 gold since all the irelia does is auto attack here we can pretend the magic damage on hit is just a flat ad bonus (its actually a bit STRONGER than this because Doublelift has less MR than armor): gold value of 66.5 ad = 66.5 ad * 35 gold/ad = 2327.5 gold ~~ 2500 gold since magic damage > physical damage So all in all, because doublelift engaged the moment irelia hit 5 stacks, she effectively had 4000 gold worth of free stats. Balanced game.

Just to point out.....Irelia was 3/7, a level behind, 2 items behind, missed stun and had no ult and brought Kaisa down to less than 25% hp. ADC is a strong role my foot (I've been hearing it a lot and it's such a braindead thing to say) :l

Have you played against a good Kaisa? Double-dash one-shotting anything that's not Malphite. Goredrinker allowing Olaf to 1v4 for months and being built by every champion before Riot does anything about it. A few weeks of Duskblade master Yi tearing through teamfights while completely invisible. Putting mobility actives on nearly every new item to allow heroes to negate their old intentional drawbacks/weaknesses. I wouldn't be surprised if they made rapid fire cannon work on every auto attack soon. All sense of direction and intentional balanced gameplay design is gone at Riot games.
@@prussia9255 The new items are breaking the pace of teamfights with overloaded burst damage; unaccounted mobility in champion kits; huge item spikes; and exacerbated snowballing across the board. Some people appreciate skill expression and the grind of needing to accumulate multiple small wins on the map to take the game. Others enjoy the Eastern MMO style of turning into an unstoppable juggernaut dealing thousands of damage to hordes of minions with your combos. So where I say "breaking" you could say "changing" if you like the Pearl Abyss × Riot crossover they've got going on this season. Edit: these types of problems have never been so pronounced and unchecked as they are right now. The game still plays like it's a preseason beta.

It's hard to balance 130 champs. It's not a terrible job when you consider that. Bans and counterpicks also make it more bearable.
