After uploading my movie/video to TH-cam, I save the Movie/video to a dedicated external hard drive only for youtube videos. Then 3 weeks later delete all the clip/footage for that project. Been doing that for 8 years with no regrets.
Orale wat up Homie, never really thought of it, I deleted 2 TB of footage last month when I realized that all my footage is automatically saved on Gopro Cloud, my Sturgis trips I usually use around 1TB of memory in a 3 week period, but since I don't know what I'm doing I'm glad I realized this cloud by accident.. Good video Homie..Cee U On The Road..
Dude I feel ya. I have a hard time deleting footage from episodes that have already posted. Thinking what if I need it but I think that has happened once in 2.5 years for me. Great topic man, hadn’t seen this one out there before.
I have come to adopt the feeling that there are far worse things than needing a video I have deleted and it pretty much makes it easier for me to delete now. Of course there will always be those that I do not delete but others…I have no problem. Thanks for watching. Deuces ✌🏼
When I edit I ask what does the viewer want to see. Yet apparently that isn't working. Im early enough in the game at the moment and don't have much footage. Got it all saved on a portable hard drive. I'd rather delete it all and just go reride it. Wish I had footage from all the rides I'd done before getting the cameras. Been a lot of cool places over the years when I was single.
Same here. There are a lot places I’ve been before I was into documenting it and wished I had but at least I do now and enjoy those. I did take a lot of photos and made these really amazing photo books though. I think I’ll convert one into a video someday. 🤔 Deuces ✌🏼
@@PaulOnTheRun thats a great idea! Wish I was that creative. I'd made a christmas book with all our photos from idaho for the guys....hindsight is 20/20 ha ha
Bro went back and watched all your Iron Butt coverage… man you guys nailed the production. Did you guys finish in 17 or 18 hours? I think I read if you finish too soon, they disqualify you for riding “unsafe/too fast”, is that true? And do you have to have a witness fill out paperwork and sign, for additional documentation? Whatcha guys got planned for 2022?
I believe we took about 18 hours, give or take but there wasn't any problem with certifying it. I'm not sure about the unsafe riding thing but I'm sure they're against breaking any laws. We actually rode the speed limit with a only a few times going over but nothing crazy. For 2022 I'm not sure yet but I would like to do something. Deuce ✌
@@PaulOnTheRun Think I got my Iron Butt 1,000 and Gold 1,500 all mapped out for later this year. Gets a guy all pumped to get after it. Hey checkout @Raider World channel. Good content to sub with.
Ohh yeah my production videos posted and non posted I do save on a external drive and two are filled.. I just ordered a new laptop for editing but won't be in till January due to parts, what do u use for editing?
@@PaulOnTheRun Seems like thee cam of choice…tough to beat S&S. I gotta go back and watch your Iron Butt content. Think I’m going to tackle mine this year. Maybe get the 1,000 & finish the 1,500 the next day to get both. Any advice? Get most the miles early, as one fades towards the end? Lol.
@@DeBa1226 biggest piece of advice is probably like you said. Start early and if this is your first one take the straightest path possible. In our case we just took interstate 10. Nice and straight with very little traffic to navigate thru. Also take into account any time change. For us we actually went thru two time zones but three different times.
@@PaulOnTheRun hey the time zone is a good point, I never thought of. I’ve got a great straight stretch to run, nearly straight as a string, and it perfectly finishes around 1,084 miles. First 350 miles virtually zero traffic, great surface, just watch for deer. Lol. I do lose an hour crossing a time zone. Not sure that will matter if I plan to finish in 17 or 18 hours, right? Seems like you left 2:30, 3am? That’s what I’m thinking is rolling out between midnight and 2am, so I can finish up before dark, have time to shower, grab a nice dinner, then decide if I jump up early and roll off another 500. My concerns are the administration, keeping receipts, mileage logs, photos of odometer straight, etc…. Any advice on how to best keep organized on that front, bro? Lol.
Spring cleaning came early!! 👍👍
🤣 😝

I use lumafusion on my IPad Pro.
Bro, what’s your current exhaust, cam set up?
I'm still running the S&S 475C cam.
