What the hell is going on there? how does it go from a steady drop (which I think the pattern is /2 +1, /2 +1.5, /2 +1) to suddenly random +337!? And then the next number is supposed to be 420? How? The pattern just suddenly changes? How are you supposed to solve that?
Each of the numbers are pairs, so it would be better to see it as a table. x | y ------------ 120 | 61 24 | 13 350 | y This would make the pattern: y = x/2 + 1. Thus the answer is 176. For some reason the image is wrong lol but that is the answer that I got from the same website they sourced their image.
@@rugrat2961Yes, the given Y for each pair in the table doesn't relate to the next X in the table at all lol they just want you to find the common formula between each pair in the table. That way you can find the answer for Y using the given X.
