This was another great few moments spent trailing around the nursery - love it - I had to pause at your ‘ball sacky’ comment to laugh in peace without missing any of the tour 😂😂😂
I’m always up for a tour of Waterwise! It gives me a good idea of what colors succulents could be, how big they can get and how they will grow (upright, spreading, etc.) 🥰
Waterwise has a stunning assortment of succulents. So glad I live several hundred miles away with my money. I couldn't not buy. Your installation looks great to this non OCD eye. Looking forward to seeing how you and your DFS crew "paint" those blank canvas areas into living ART. So fun and inspiring to see the entire process. You are a fantastic art, color, and design, teacher.
Laura you are too funny. I was wondering how long it would take before you started cleaning up your installation at Waterwise! Looking forward to your new project.
As close as the homeowners are to the beach and with their beach sign and her hand-picked beach rocks she’s collected, did she ask for a more “coastal” succulent vibe or no? I’m looking forward to seeing what y’all do with this installation. 🧜♀️🐚
That's a good example of what happens with palms. They eventually grow so tall they offer no privacy. I read that they take off after 8 years and that's what mine did. So anyone who has them I'd suggest you get them chopped down before they reach eight years.
A little investigation with the working end of a shovel will tell us where we’re at in regards to foundations and footings. Thatch refers to root mass from former plants that have been removed.
Star jasmine near a tapestry? What about all the detritus? I planted a tapestry under my star jasmine. It's 2 stories high and the bane of my existence.
Another great video. Love that you showed it starting "naked" and can't wait 'til you dress it up! 🌵👗
I am so jealous when I see the beautiful succulent nurseries in America. I agree with you on the Jades. They are lovely and very diverse

Looking good! I wish we had a Waterwise garden centre here in Portugal.
I always want to walk around and pick up dead flowers after watching you 🤣
Such lovely plants! It's nice to learn their names as we just get them labeled "succulents" up here in the north.
"Ballsacky" is my new adjective.
OMG, I love Waterwise, my only problem is...I'm in Kansas! I love this video and so jealous of you in the mecca of succulents! 😊
Sorry they’re not keeping up in your garden. You go back and make it 100 great job

How do you know if you are or are not running your soil against foundation?
And what is thatch?

@@LauraEubanks Thank you Laura! Your videos have helped me so much.
@@LauraEubanks 1 more question - Is there a good succulent nursery in the Los Angeles area that you know of?
I don’t know of any succulent wholesalers in LA. I have all of my plants shipped up from San Diego.
🥰😍
