I heard Jannabi on a college radio in Atlanta that plays Korean Underground music. There 1st album"Monkey Hotel" was amazing! I still need to listen to there 2nd album. This indie band is totally enjoyable to listen too. I don't understand why there were categorize as "Pop" even though they don't make pop music at all. They do belong to an independent label but there distributor is Loen entertainment.
The fact that you have a college radio that plays K-underground is so cool! Monkey Hotel is aamazing, indeed! Their second album really surprised me (in a 'WOW' kind of good way) and I absolutely love it. I hope you will too! Maybe they're categorized as pop because they have (some) mainstream songs? From what I read about music genres that's what I would assume but yeah 😗
@@jannabi_happy Yeah some there songs are featured in drama OST. I still consider them as "Rock" since that's their genre not "Pop". I enjoy underground music over Pop because you support the smaller artist and there merch is cheap if you support them. If you want to listen to Korean indie music from Atlanta get the app on the phone called "Tune-in" and look for WRAS 88.5. Every Friday night @10 pm that's when the show starts. Sometimes the schedule can change but you have follow the show Facebook page called "꿀kooljam잼" for updates. 꿀kooljam잼 is the name of the radio show for Atlanta album 88.
