If you tell the truth, and conduct yourself honorably, even if things don't work out the way you hoped they would, whether it's a relationship, a friendship, a family member, or a job, at least you can walk away with your head held high, knowing you did the best you could, despite your faults.

I always prided myself on being known as a "nice guy". I realize now that it meant sometimes I comprised telling the truth about my feelings in order to stay "nice". It cost my a lot of things including my health and happiness. Now I want to be the best version of myself by telling the truth and known as a "truth teller"

it's a balance. you can be "kind" but stick up for urself. if u disagree say so. with no apology. not combatively. it takes work. but you can do it.

I started telling the truth by commenting a lot on my idol's page :))) People were shocked by who I was, I mean they did deduce some insance thoughts about me. But gradually by telling my true face, I learn to accept my dark sides, my being vulnerable, then I connect to the right people who love me just the way I am. Then i become benevolent for my scars and also see how hurt people are so that they do not dare to tell the truth. I grow selflove and also love for the imperfection of life, and then I just become more confident with who I am, and right now, I am truthfully open to the world. Actually, this is crazy courage though, but it's worth my efforts in restrospect. We have to stay true to ourselves in the long run to be fully happy and satisfied

Don't be afraid of speaking the truth. Learn to take a stand and don't waver in standing for what is right. No matter what everyone around you is doing or saying, stand firm on the truth. Do not be swayed by popular opinions; such mean nothing if they go against God's Word.

They get a look of wow he or she has balls. Keep being honest. It's needed to break the conditioning In the west of being do fake, sensitive z manipulative ECT. Be the change .

Amazing lecture, I thank you for a beautiful presentation. Just some food for thoughts, If you are open to add and varify your perception.
please read " Qura'n " translation with open heart. It will below your mind, I read this all and more in Quran, It teaches everything you said and more, Teachings and life of prophet Mohammed also have lifelong lessons and guide to live an ideal life.
Just to know Quran is true word of God without any changed and corruption and it is not only for muslims but for entire human race. It is another issue that muslims don't know its content in general.
God bless. and thank you again to have an opportunity to listen to you

I tell you the truth. One day I felt open to reading the Quran. I wanted to find common ground and a basis for peace between peoples of varying religions. I have two English translation Qurans in my personal library. I opened one to a random page and immediately my eyes fell on a particular verse. It was not a basis for common ground or peace. It explained why much of the world is in perpetual war and oppression. God bless you, too. You seem to mean well.

do u live in the usa? ppl here have been conditioned to not be honest. to see it as being rude, mean. even when it 's not. as young kids. kids are honest. maybe some more so than others. and depending on the enviorment some maclicious in their manner but if it's just honesty without the comabtiveness that's good. but when u start to grow u are told to say good things. to put on a fake smile to agree when u don't. such honesty is seen as offensive. even social liars are actually "more popular" because they are being phony. but having a few ppl who really know u and love u is better than 100 fake friends who only like how u make them feel.

A result of assumptions and bias. It simply requires that you see a "common ground", however you define that.
