I love the idea of the Odette and Odile. I would suggest completing those (and the lovely blue one!) and then do something completely different!

"and then do something completely different" is always the cure to any knitting slump that I'm in tbh, such good advice!!! I just planned out my next project that's completely different (an oversized intarsia sweater) and it is totally what I needed!

I can’t believe you put out so many pretty patterns and have a full time job ❤ You’re doing great! Don’t feel like you have to put a pattern out for everything you knit it’s supposed to be fun 😊 On another note I would tie the ribbon on the Odette top the other way so the bows are on the back and put a picot edge along the bottom in the same color as the ribbon. Being able to wear a bra with it is a huge plus!

Don't worry about second guessing your 'Odette' design, it's super cute! :) I like that it could easily be a cute wardrobe staple but the ribbon makes it more exciting without compromising its simplicity

Thank you so much for saying that, that's really what my original vision was!

I really love the fit and shape of the white top. I definitely don’t mind the criss cross, but I probably would have the ribbon lining the edge of the straps as opposed to crisscrossing down the strap, if that makes sense (like going down each side of the straps). I guess the great part of the design is that people can lace the straps based on preference🥰 beautiful construction and you should be proud❤️

Wait that's such a cute idea, I need to try that! I guess if I make a pattern it'd be pretty easy to just leave out the YO holes too for anyone who liked the overall silhouette but didn't want the ribbons 🧐

I am so in love with the white ribbon top!!! Please make it into a pattern!! I can imagine it already in black with pink ribbons 💖💖

The white top with the ribbon is really cute. Would absoloutly make a Tank and also a TEE version.

I LOVE the white top with the criss-cross ribbon, especially the scoop neck detail. Also the top with the folded bust fabric!?!? Its so so good.
You're my favorite knit designer, I love all the feminime/ribbon tops you have designed. You inspire me a lot!

I also had the experience of not being able to get clothes off my body. I was trying on a dress in India and had no choice but to call my mom into the fitting room to help me get it off which meant her seeing the tattoo that I had been hiding from her for years LOL

LOL nooooo i hope that went ok!! im laughing picturing you having to make that call. why does it feel life or death every time i get stuck trying on clothing lmao

Since you asked I'm not a big fan of the shoulder strap lacing piece. However, the idea with the 2 straps seems pretty cool

I truly appreciate your honesty!! I know that not *everyone* will love stuff I design and that's totally fine (and I don't even ask if it's something I'm 100% happy about haha) but when I'm not feeling totally sure it's helpful to get a gut check from people! Sometimes things are just a miss and that's okay too :)

@@starcrossedknits well it is different when you're designing for others vs only for yourself. Of course, in both cases you have to like the outcome yourself, but the stakes are not the same. Good luck ^^
