What's your take on losing the heat shields that were surrounding the exhaust in that area originally? At least, they are there on my 2007 IS350. Apparently the heat shields promote rot in the exhaust because they trap snow/slush/salt etc.
What kind of shop are u? I know regular mechanic would not able to do such job. I live in ottawa so if u have any recommendation of what type of shop to search for, let me know
