Dog turns on rice cooker to prepare meal for owner in China

A six-year-old husky turned on a rice cooker by following her owner’s voice commands via a video home surveillance system in eastern China’s Zhejiang province. He said he took longer than expected getting a Covid-19 test done, so he decided to remotely instruct his dog to start preparing dinner. Lucky also knows how to flush the toilet, turn off the water tap and fasten her seatbelt when she is in a car.

As much as I'm in awe of how great and talented the dog was. I will never trust my dog to turn on any appliances since I'm worried that they might accidentally hurt themselves.

@@DanielFenandes lol of course its real, and dont worry about dog or cat getting hurts by the electric appliances, they can sense electricity (or electric field when its active), they know full well which part to not touch

They are quite difficult to train because usually they don't have high focus and just want to have fun and active. That's why they are not recommended for beginner. Untrained husky could be disaster. Not to mention they talk too much usually 😂
My dogs dont even know lay down/sit. But on the video its so heart warming!

Helpers at the home and happy this dog cooks for his owner I’m still cooking rice for my dog but he opens boxes and helps security
He's great but not helping tbh.. it's just tricks for fun or for the video. Watching a dog press a modified switch with prepared rice cooker is way more effort than a remote switch.
That dog better be getting his portion of the rice or something else as thanks...That loyalty and support is something that requires being rewarded on matter of principles.
