Also, there is a Masjid in Gujrat, which might be the oldest one. That Masjid’s qibla is facing towards Jerusalem, which means it must have been built before the Ayah of change of qibla was revealed.

Another good one… Also, Isn’t Cheraman Masjid at Kudungalor the oldest Islamic monument in the subcontinent being built in 7th century?

      Thank you! :)
The Cheraman mosque is said to be the oldest. The same historian who has researched on Bhadreshvar and it's oldest Islamic monuments, Mehrdad Shokoohy, has also written extensively about Cheraman mosque in his book Muslim Architecture of South India. In his book he attributes the date of 629 AD to be rooted more in legend than in fact. This legend seems to have really caught on and even figured in Farishta's history of the subcontinent. But there's no evidence to prove the date.
With Bhadresvar the dating has been done by inscription. Furthermore, as I say in the video it is likely many more mosques were built before the Shrine of Ibrahim (1160 AD) but have clearly not survived. These in Bhadresvar are therefore the earliest extant Islamic monuments in India!

There are at least 2 mosques in Kerala and Tamilnadu which were built during the time of prophet Mohammad himself. If that is true then they must be the oldest mosques of India, not this one.
