Making sure plugins work is hard when dealing with large group collabs and has caused issues in the past. Without enough time to do proper testing, it's smoother to just play normally and nobody has to risk being the one with technical issues while they're live. They had to stop using proximity chat in the middle of a past collab because it wasn't working properly for Ollie for example, and she felt so bad about that. They also couldn't push the time back for any troubleshooting since this was practically a guerilla collab and they were trying to do this as a last minute promotion for the Amogus x Hololive collab before it was over.
