If sulleta is clone of Ariel it would explain even further the connection of gundam that basically the same person and that there stress and no cost to her using it.
Tbf, I'd argue the finale of cour 1 confirmed the brainwashing

it's honestly wild how many people refused to believe the phrase was a trigger to make her obey but at least this moment should put it to rest. since we literally see her eyes change when thinking of it after slowly remembering what she had done

Too much goodness and this is the second episode !
This series is paced to the opposite of Iron Blooded Orphans. I hope this half ends as well as the first. Things seem to going to hit hard. Seeing how the school is trying to get back to normal after everything is very timely to things happening in the world, with political and economic leaders trying to do the same.
Yknow... now that I think about it. If Mios mom worked with Prospera. And Delling didn't let mio see her mom after she died. She mightve not "died" but be part of the quite zero plan.
And just when i thought iron blooded orphans was already dark enough..

Okay... so Miorine's mother was involved in Quiet Zero... anyone else think that she's "gone" for the same reason as Eri and that she's now merged into the core of Quiet Zero?
That would most certainly explain why Delling refused to tell Miorine what exactly happened to her.
I wonder if Prospera's ulterior motive is bringing back Eri. If that's the case however the question is whether Suletta will be her sister... or her new body or some sort of sacrifice.
Or if we go way off the beaten path, maybe Suletta is a part of Eri that was split off, rather than merely a younger sister.
Thinking back to the fact that the writer worked on Code Geass, a disembodied mom is completely on brand for him.
My take : Prospera plans to use Suletta's body as Eri's new body to get her back. Eri might choose to give Suletta back to MioMio in the end and splatter Prospera or bring her into a sudoku together to end their vengeance together....
The twist was so worth it and well done. Damn! poor Sophie... Something is definitely wrong with Suletta, Her mom at this point is the big bad. Suletta really looks up to her I want to see how she break free of that kind of manipulation
One theory confirmed and Prosperais looking more like the real enemy than ever,but we still need two answers:
1-How did she turn her daughter into a Gundam?
2-Who actually is Suletta? Because in appearance they are similar but we already know Prospera doesn’t even care for her as a daughter,so a clone seem most likely at the moment.
Also didn’t expect Sophie to die,I thought there would be more development with the two witches from earth but only one will get the spotlight now.
And congratulations to Nika,not only did she betray her friends and caused deaths but now her friends are all now under suspicion of terrorism.

Don't forget the YAY! on top of it Prospera seems to be the real villain of the series and on top of it quiet zero is becoming more and more intriguing.

The reveal was surprising and elevated Prospera to the level of insane final boss, what Shaddiq pulled off was sly yet crazy. He's taking over, someone dies in a school event, and it looks like Earth House is in trouble thanks to Eika being accused of being a terrorist. The adults in this story are awful getting the kids mixed up in their politics and manipulation.
the author is often making a adult dumb and just casually evil politican, meanwhile teenager is superior yet getting crossfire between conflict....

They revealed this so early and killed off Sophie I think is because they will put Sophie soul or brain into her Gundam just like Ariel and maybe eventually all Earth pilots will be turned into Gundam.
I always figured, since Eri being Aerial has been kinda obvious lol, that Eri maybe died on the way to Mercury, so Prospera essentially saved her by turning her into Aerial.
I got no problem with Prospera being straight up evil, but she very well might not be.
That whole "if you run you gain one, if you go forward you gain two" deal gave me a "would you kindly" vibe almost from the start.

It hurts seeing Chu Chu being the loudmouth that she is being affected by that event at the space station and suffering PTSD, but also hopeful that despite her grievances towards the spatians she’s someone that ultimately values life and will oppose that radical group despite being earthians like her.
My jaw dropped after that reveal ... Prospera is insane!

Seriously. I did not expect this at all. I really thought Eri was Suletta but lost the “Eri” personality. Yet. It was not that. Oh goodness gracious. I almost wanted to vomit. Guess we all knew who is the “Witch” from Mercury now.
Aerial now can join her older siblings at the soul in the machine group with the 72 Gundam frames.

Episode 6 sealed the deal for me, that Suletta was not who we think she is, and that Aerial is something else entirely, we knew that from the very creepy laughter of children at the end of that episode's battle. the real question is, is how many children did Prospera use to make Aerial?
What I think is the case, is that Suletta is a clone of Ericht, and is likely the only clone currently functioning at this point, my bet is that Prospera is holding back on more of those clones, and Miorine will likely find out the very sinister secret that there is more than one Suletta in existence and that there is probably an army of Aerials being mass-produced.
Anything is possible at this point, that is great to see.
Tbf, I think Suletta's the only clone, since it was stated that only Eri's controlling the bits
I guess that Aerial consists of many kids because during the prologue, aerial only reacts to eri due to her being a kid.
@@Peasham not really certain of that, Elan Ceres has had multiple copies of that one character, some active at the same time, once one of the clones became defective, that version of Elan was executed and another took his place.
there is a chance that the current version of Sulleta might be seen as potentially defective later on, which might lead Prospera to bring out another Ericht clone to destroy Suletta once she outlasts her usefulness, which may bring about another version of Aerial, which might mean that Prospera saved the essence of Eri in a file in case there is a need to deal with a potential for Sulleta realizing that she is being used for some warped idea of what peace is, as well as the current Aerial realizing that the "peace" that is being fought for is messed up.
It is also very likely that the death of her husband, and potentially Eri, it drove Prospera insane, that has warped her view of what peace is.
@@theflyingdropbear2009 Elan's copies are different people who've had their faces changed to server as his body doubles, they're by definition not clones, they're wholly separate people mentally and biologically.
I don't see how she could do any of that without completely blowing Suletta's cover. Not to mention, Elan's body doubles are people enhanced in a way that allows them to withstand the permet link and we can assume their defectiveness is linked to that, whereas Suletta has no need to withstand the permet link since the Aerial doesn't hurt her pilot.
As for Prospera's mental state, it's very much implied she's been working on Quiet Zero with Delling since before the attack where her husband died, I think there might've been confirmation of that but I don't remember it off the top of my head.

I will say this, in regards to Shaddiq getting control over much of anything, he can't get anything above Grassley House. Sure, grandpa might be Delling's replacement, but that's not just because he holds the arbitrary title of "head of Grassley house", it's because of who he is specifically.
Having said that, his stated goal WAS to get Grassley house started on producing Gundams, and I wanna say that might pose trouble for Suletta, but considering she can murder anyone who uses a Gundam by default, like she just WINS that matchup, I highly doubt that.
Both villains (Prospera and Shaddiq) revealing their cards at the same time...
But not gonna lie I was kinda disgusted at the reveal even tho it was the biggest theory running arround, the truth hurts.
Funny enough I had rewatched season1 ep s1final moment to hype me just before this episode and after Guel's defeat you get the opening but with a one time only animation of both Suletta and Eri being "two different person", this thing makes so much sense now it was under our noses since the beginning of ep1.

I didn’t even know there was a theory behind this I just assumed Eri was Suletta and she changed her name due to what happened in the prologue. This was literally a jaw dropping moment that caught me so off guard
Suletta age never matched with the passage of time between episode 0 and 1. There is a 21 year time skip after episode 0. Suletta is only 17.

it's funny how I literally had a person claiming I "read the manga" to get theories right on heavenly delusion only for an anime without a source the next day confirm a theory ive had for months despite pushback lol. I get plenty wrong but I do get quite a few right just by looking at clues even when the masses said the Eri is Aerial theory was a crackpot one. back when I made I think episode 6's video I had some nasty comments from people claiming how stupid I was. jokes on them now

I was one of those who didn’t get this theory at first. Now it makes more sense now!

My current theory is that Eri's consciousness became Aerial and that her body became a blank slate after which became Suletta.
I remembering how horrified she was in the prologue that her daughter became linked to the Gundam that this might be the result of that.
Don't think so..Eri and Suletta is two different person.. weather she is Eri clones or sisters

to think that it was true, Eri IS the gundam Aerial, and to think Elnora had 2 daughters, and Elnora used her own daughter's consciousness into the mobile suit's cybernetic mind, what a monster.

One thing I thought about that supports this theory is that the name AERIAL. If you know a little bit of Japanese, Aerial is pronounced as E-RI-A-RU. ERI ARU literally means "Eri is here" in Japanese.
That plot twist was so good, it makes me sick to the stomach. Prospera, you're on my watchlist. Her haircut should've given her away.
I also noticed something in the ED. Whenever Suletta and Miorine were together, Suletta seemed more assertive, which was never the case in all of season 1.
The pacing in this one was frantic but that really sold how the battle devolved into complete mayhem. Fantastic twist at the end.

Well that's one theory confirmed and I guess Belmeria is going to let Miorine is going to know about A"eri"al and explains why Suletta and Miorine didn't get affected by the Gundam curse, also i'm guessing Suletta's a clone of Eri not another daughter as a sister isn't mentioned in the prologue plus if the 21 years is the time between the prologue and now then Suletta would still be the wrong age.
Nika's future is not looking good either the authorities want her head, Shadiq i feel would seem to be forgiving only to get her in another way and i imagine Earth House is going to after her after this.
Also looking back at the opening and at this episode when Suletta's shouting stop, i was having moments of "is she talking to Shopie or Aerial " as it looked a bit like Aerial was moving on her own, (which has happened in i believe Unicorn Gundam and human soul stuck in a Gundam did pilot the thing without a pilot) and the intro does have a scene where Suletta's looking worriedly at Ariel so maybe Suletta is going to lose aerial this season somehow either the mother take her or Aerial goes off on her own (if you read the short story you can see Aerial didn't want Suletta mixed up in whatever Prospera has cooking) and Suletta is going to have to try and get Aerial back at some point.

Prospera kind of reminds me of a less crazy Carozzo Ronah from F91. I feel shes got some mobile-armor getting developed like he had. Its seems to be working she will be the big bad.
I was always curious about what the haunting voices in the suit were earlier on in the first cour, now I know.
Now that the theory is confirmed this means that the daugther Prospera referring to on previous episodes was Arial so it might be possible that Suletta not her daugther but rather a clone of Prospera hence it could be the reason how she can perfectly manipulate/brainwash Suletta since she is projecting herself on her clone.

The part that is crazy and that I LOVE about Gundam is that by the end of all this, when we find out WHY Prospera did what she did to Eri, we're gonna be sad. And we may just understand why she did it. So Suletta is basically a clone like Elan like we expected.
My guess is that Eri's body deteriorated most likely due to the effects of the GUND Format or Permet Code. In desperation, Prospera tried to preserve Eri's consciousness in the Aerial. Her helplessness to prevent both her husband's and daughter's death probably broke her psyche.
The Elans who attend the school aren't really clones through, they're more body doubles: they're people surgically modified to resemble the real Elan Ceres.

The whole show is so fresh in setup and pay ofs and I love it. I think the ending is a foreshadowing for Suletta getting free of Prosperas influence. In it she loses the hair band and starts to manipulate the gund bits her self and if we look back, the only time Suletta talkted about her own genuine wish it was with Miorine and without the hair band. My call: it is a symbol of controll.
This episode left me utterly speechless... I hope this sparks hope in the franchises recognition in the west.

Suletta now has more parallels with Utena Tenjou from RGU (Which WFM borrows a lot from). Utena's flaw and biggest obstacle was her infatuation with the idea or ideal of "The Prince", which through out the show helds her back and she barely overcomes by the end.
take note whenever suletta talks with her mom, and she goes "how did you know mom?" i believe suletta is a robot with AI, her mom lets her move around, think, or act on her own from time to time. however the headgear her mom wears is used to control or peek at her. it might also be why her mom is unusually calm when suletta is duelling or out and about, and why her mom is almost always just close by
My brother in Christ her mom isn't even in the school for the vast majority of the show and there's absolutely zero indication that there's anything mechanical about Suletta lmao

The current problem now would be the prequel light novel, wherein Ericht is "talking" to the first Aerial, while "it" talks back to her. If Ericht was still alive in that novel wherein she was talking to Aerial, then who was inside the Aerial by that time?
Aerial has absorbed multiplie people leading up to Eri being compatible. in the last cour multiple gundbits were flying around and all felt alive

The gund-form system Kinda reminded me with pacific rim system where you need more than one brain to move something that big and using that many bits??? To know what Prospera wants it might be good to look at what the Head Doctor at the Vanadis Institute said in the prologue(paraphrased), "Humans need to put on clothes to leave their cradle."
Revealing the Eri, Aerial twist early now creates space for even more speculation.

Not sure how they are going to handle Suletta's parentage, but I'm still hoping Eri's body is Suletta, just raised from scratch by Prospera. Though as a long time Gundam fan I'm cool with anything more dark and/or depressing.
I've seen a theory about this on a short but I just accepted it due to the time difference.
Well until it makes sense A-ERI-AL. But for some reason, I'm imagining the ending being Sulleta awakening from her mother's "manipulation" and letting go, saying goodbye to the bond she has with her mother and Aeriel. Something similar to Chisato with Yoshi-san in Lycoris Recoil. Thus showing that Sulleta will move forward with his life and his goal of making the Gundam life-saving machines. Well I'd say it would be pretty disappointing for me BUT this is my first Gundam, and the fandom says there aren't many 100% happy endings in Gundam.

Im going hog wild guys but I think the fact they can transfer Eri's Consciousness into Aerial means the other GUND-bits are also copies of Eri's consciousness. We don't stop there because we've seen the possibilities with GUND in the medical field that's been sprinkled throughout the show and the cloning or biomedical field that's capable of creating more Elans. It feels similar to how Black Mirror or Westworld where they show you a mechanic in the world and they build upon it and it leaves you with an inkling of what's possible with this new mechanic and they apply it. I think Suletta is a full on android with Eri's consciousness as well except she 'grew up' as a 'human'. She has never used the permet score as it was Aerial all along but I suspect she is the very project, Quiet Zero in trying to waken it where Prospera speaks about how the school is the perfect environment for Suletta. To be able develop an android that has the ability to access the data storm and control it instead of a full sized gundam (Aerial). Feel free to tear apart my dreams I'ma have another drink.

My guess is Suletta is a random orphan who had her face changed like Elan. It’s mentioned to often to ignore. I need to rewatch this episode. There was a lot of information and I don’t think I pocket up the more subtle suggestions
I think it's setting up a Shrek story plot. It first makes it seem like Suletta saved Migraine but in the end, Mio will be the one to save Suletta

My guess is that Eri's body deteriorated most likely due to the effects of the GUND Format or Permet Code. In desperation, Prospera tried to preserve Eri's consciousness in the Aerial. Her helplessness to prevent both her husband's and daughter's death probably broke her psyche.
Also the lest not forget Ariel's line from the short story "Suletta is a good girl mother if you want revenge just let me go and leave her out of it"

I love how this reveal throws shade back onto the ethical viability of the gund-arm system. A lot of the in show justification had Suletta being fine using it in the spotlight. But this reveal shatters that idea. I can't wait to see how they'll handle it.

My theory is, I think the real Ericht Samaya was on verge of death while in young age because of this curse of the gundam. Prospera can't let that happen then put Eri's consciousness on data storm and clone her . The other pilot that get this gundam curse confirmed that they're slowly dying because of it.

Suletta is being brainwashed with all the drugs and key phrase. She’s also undergoing conflict. Eri must be a child or rather young. It does seem like a timeskip will happen this season. Prospera wears a mask on her face literally and figuratively. Although Eri died and became a Gundam and the father dying in the prologue, it’s hard to know who the father is for Suletta since the parentage is a little weird. We also haven’t seen Guel yet this season who I imagine is traumatized. Maybe hidden away. Also I wonder about seeing the taller Suletta in the ED too. And ooh Nika is blamed and will be taken. We still need to see what happens to Quiet Zero and honestly a sequel that establishes this project as a reality would be interesting

Elan was initially upset when he thought Suletta was like him and found out she wasn't. Turns out he might not have been wrong to think. I would encourage people to look up the prequel short stories after this episode.

The Suletta Mercury brainwashing remind of Bioshock 1 would you kindly brainwashing phrase when Atlas would always say the phrase would you kindly to the player character throughout the game. Prospera Mercury is pretty much the female version of Atlas for Gundam the witch from Mercury who use a phrase triggered brainwashing on her own daughter for her own agenda and scheme on a world that wronged her.
From episode to episode, the hair of Prospera are darker and darker. They start red in the flashback and by now they are black... There's a hint here.

Permet connects to the pilot via the MS itself, not the bits, since not every Gundam has bits, it would make no sense for one of, or all of the bits to be shouldering the burden of the system since they're not even integral to the system.

Eri being the Aerial reminds me of Marion Whelch in Gundam: Blue Destiny where she had her soul trapped inside the EXAM-system that was installed into four mobile suits. So, it's not that much of a twist to me.
