- Taron is one of two new roller coasters to open to the public in Phantasialand on the 30th June 2016.
The Intamin supplied ride is the centre piece of the new land Klugheim. It features 2 launches, incredible theming, lots of swooping S turns and some impressive airtime.
The video features the official theme music for the ride.
One of the first videos i have seen, that really shows the speed of this coaster like it really feels!
Thank you. I think because you can see how close the train gets to the theming it helps give the perception of speed.
yeah i watched a front seat version and it seemed so slow but in this pov it was way faster
@@parkerkeetanimations2584in the front it feels faster and you feel more compression after the launches but its a way smoother ride and you won't get these rough lateral forces from the fast transitions. The back seats are mostly playing with the feeling that you might get ejected out of your seat by the strong airtime moments and those long lasting lateral forces.
I still can't decide which row i like most, but i clearly prefer the left side of the trains.
The turn at 1:06 is along with the 2nd launch the best part in my opinion, it throws you out of your seat! Although it doesn't look like it.
Absolutely right, that turn is quite un expected, especially with such incredible airtime.

I rode the Taron few days ago.. never again. I couldnt handle it. Some have fun but I was really scared. Really fast coaster
It's a great ride, can see why it's too extreme for some. Hope you enjoyed the rest of the park though.
@@MarcusGainesCoasterTouringit's the feeling of losing control and that you might get ejected out of your seat. Then you have the near misses by the close theming and the forceful launches with that unique sound. That combined makes it a special ride experience which is really different compared with the most other rides and that can be scary for some people.

The camelbacks were intense, and fun, with the trims. Bet it would be painful without.
You are right. And the 180degree turn around at the end would be a killer without the breaks!

the first time i was on this one i was also in the back! could be that my friend was sitting where you sat if this is the right train! i love this ride!! i wanna ride it again!!

Taron front seat is awesome because you can see all of the amazing theming. And since this is a launch coaster it doesn’t really feel different in the back seat imo

Nicky D as much as I love airtime, it can get too much and when it does it goes from fun to painful. I suspect given how good the airtime is on Taron that it’s on the verge of getting painful.
The other thing is restraints on coasters come in different category ratings. I don’t know exact numbers but things like inversions, positive and negative g levels all affect the rating of the restraint required. Maybe the trims are needed to keep the ride within the parameters for the restraint classifications.
@@MarcusGainesCoasterTouring maverick at cedar point is thee same model in testing they had a heartline roll an it was pulling 8G's they had to trim it like tron and remove the roll
