In this case, Murad IV was sure that his army would win for numerical superiority, superior training of the Jannisarries and better cannons. So he fought too.

When shehzada Beyazid saw that his army was losing. He chose to fight to increase the morale of his troops.
Suleiman's battles were more complicated, so he stayed behind and observed the situation.

Actually there are many examples a muslim empire fought against another muslim empire. A perfect example can be said one of Murad lV's ancestors, Selim l, who also fought against two muslim empires. Thus, after Selim winning the battle of Ridanyah 1517, Ottoman Caliphate established. We, muslims, got a tremendous powerful Caliphate.
