Great vid, i definitely always build trans on loki but I always find the decision between maxing the 2 or the 3 first difficult in arena. The 3 gives you better fight potential early but the 2 allows you to max your stacks really quickly with the easy clear. A great trick to use if you're caught running away and still have ult is to body block with your decoy and then ult them while they're in the radius, so fun when you pull it off.
Quick tip quickie for Loki guys, try not to be seen. Like at all. Enter fights in stealth, pop your target and run like hell. The build I personally use that manages to eat mages and other squishies for breakfast goes as such Warrior tabi Hydra's Lament Jotun's Wrath Frostbound Hammer Rage Deathbringer Give it a go if you like guys and happy hunting.

I swear I played an arena game with you on my team a few months ago. Funny that I found your TH-cam channel on accident, totally subscribed! :D Loki is one of my favourites, second most played god in fact. Some people may complain he's too strong and or easy, but as with every god it depends entirely on how you play him. When I first started I had no idea what I was doing given Smite is the first online game I enjoy and play regularly, but Loki was still a strong choice back then because I was playing with other inexperienced(in Smite at least) players who didn't know to listen for Loki's sound or what to do when I stealthed up behind them or used it to escape. Now at level 30 I find more resistance and challenge, but because Loki is balanced I've never had a game with him that felt completely hopeless because if it is then it's my fault for not planning and playing correctly and I like that challenge :D

hey Raynday. what good strategy you recommend against loki??? arena , clash or conquest. he is really hard to deal with(sneaky). me and my friends will thank any recommendations.
As a Loki player cc and stuns are a pain. Keep an eye out for him and try to listen for the sounds from his abilities. Also he's weak early game so try and pressure him a bit of you can.
I agree with you that Loki is not OP but works really well in casuals. As long as you are watching out for your teammates and always keep an eye on Loki he is pretty manageable. I always retreat to base a bit earlier then usual as well. Especially on a squishy god, if i'm about half health I just head on back. I also think that most people in casuals forget that as a mage for example you can just build a breast plate of valor and it will allow you to survive his initial burst from his ult and throw your whole kit on him. I won't say it will save you 100% of the time but it will make it much more manageable to deal with him. And if you are really worried you can go breast plate of valor and warlock's sash(I personally think warlocks takes to long to stack in arena so I don't really like using it there) and you should be good to go. I know i sometimes have it to where i'm thinking i can handle this Loki, i just want more damage but ifyou are struggling get these items and you will have a much easier time.

For me, when I was playing Gods like Anubis in arena, I would very often pick up Aegis and simply wait for his ult, aegis the 2 hits and dot damage after, then turn around and kill him. CC really hurts loki, especially if you can survive his burst. A good loki will ONLY show up when he knows he can kill you. It takes a lot of awareness (when are his beads on cooldown, does he have sanctuary up, did he just use his CC ability on another character etc.) to really maximize your Loki play. That is why I have respect for good Loki players. Although trading out damage isn't fun, it is more effective in surviving, I agree.
I love that you mentioned that aspect of Loki(having to be very aware). I don't think he requires alot of mechanical skill but to play Loki well you have to be on top of all the things you mentioned. Unless you are up against people who don't know how to handle him in general. I feel most people give Loki to much flack about him being easy to play but I don't necessarily agree.

Is it a good idea for me to master neith and then move on to another God, this is my first time ever playing smite and i feel really comfortable using neith. I wanted your opinion on it though.
Although I cannot play smite when I am on a Imac. (only thing I have) (got the mac when I was kinda young (14 rn) ANYWAY! I can enjoy smite from your eyes and learn some new facts! I fell in love w/ the game when I went to my friends house and I played as Ra.(He reminds me of Lux from LOL) I FED IN BOTS! LOL, never the less feeding, it was extremely fun! Smite is now on Xbox and in closed beta on PS(they usually give out plenty of keys). Just letting you in case you didn't know, so that you can play on those platforms if you have one. (:
if you build a bit DMG then the rest crit you can do a 1,400 DMG build with every crit hit which is usually every 2nd or 3rd hit so ya..... I'd say he does a lot of damage.

I've changed his build so many times lol. I think I'm building him wrong but idk First I was using Warrior Tabi, Jottuns wrath, blood forge, Titans bane, malice, and then Deathbringer.Then I was using transcendence, warrior Tabi, jottuns wrath, hydras, blood forge and deathebinger. I'm just not sure what to use I tried a lot of penetration, critical chance and It seems to work some games and then some games I get rekt. I just want an op build lol.
Start bluestone and t1 boots and a few pots. finish boots first back (u need 4 of each pots most likely) and then go into trans. after trans go jotuns, then titans, hydras, and lastly either a defense item if your behind, bloodforge or brawlers if your fed. always upgrade 1 first it does the most dmg. max upgrade your ult last. (btw you only need 4 upgrades on your 2 to clear all but the big minion) so your lvl 19 upgrade should be your two. hope i helped :) have fun being a loki asshole haha

+Dilim Odinkaluu Absolutely, let's do it sometime. And also, good point about Loki and Ao Kuang. Very easily isolated and picked off in team fights. They have to do their own thing and create 1v1 scenarios whenever possible.
Why do I see barely anyone go for a crit, attack and movement speed build for any god? It's so good, does much more damage than most other builds I see, yet no one uses it? Winddemon, deathbringer, poisoned star, executioner, ninja tabi, a protection item => instant auto shred with like 2-4 hit kills jusy using auto... Is it just me or does the community ignore the crit builds cuz I personaly feel like crits op as F*😅
Loki can snowball harder than most other gods because there comes a point where he can get so fed that all he has to do is click on an enemy and he gets a kill while they can't do anything about it, unless they time an aegis/beads perfectly. I know that he's nowhere near good enough to be used professionally, but I still hate to see him on the enemy team.
I have 0 respect for Loki players, probably because I have no clue how to counter play him. And his damage is ridiculous. Any tips for playing against Loki as a Mage?

Sorry to be so late but Loki benefits on physical power, physical penetration and mana strength, but only with Transcendence. True damage cuts through any armour, but attack speed isn't benefiting, so try using blood forge, it's amazing.
I don't feel that way but thanks for sharing your thoughts. Personally don't mind it and find it works okay in certain scenarios. Also, brawlers and and jotunns are good items for Loki in my brief experience. But definitely can maximize this more (but that's the case for most builds right now but season 3 due to everything being changed)
