As a TX fan I'm rooting for Maalik. The dude is a class act and a beast of a man. That said he doesn't look that great in this spring game and he's not even getting real pressure. But it's just a spring game so hard to judge too much from it. Hoping he does well this year.
He was definitely legit in the spring game.. couple TD drives and a lot of nice throws.. n it’s only spring in a new offense.. he’ll be even better by the summer

He has so much potential. I know the K State game last year had its moments but this dude has a canon and has the ability to throw dots….hope he is able to excel.
He’s got a strong arm, hopefully he can put some more accuracy on it over the offseason, but in college he can get away with running the ball and not force things so hopefully he puts that in his game, he’s 6’5 200+ he’s like a cam newton he should definitely take advantage of his size, but best of luck to you Malik I’ll be rooting for you man. 🤘
Hate to tell you Duke fans, but watch his film with Texas last year when Ewers was hurt. When he gets pressure he throws some of the worst picks you will ever see. I hope he does well for you guys, but take your blood pressure pills before watching him.
The boogie man because he got injured coming out of high school and it took a couple years to fully heel. Then he had to sit behind Ewers. I really like maalik, but this dude making excuses for him cheapens the hard work he’s put in to get his body right and back competing. But, some people always gotta blame someone else.
