something a little different, but it was fun to experiment with! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 𝗞𝗶𝘁: Roland TD-17KVX 𝗩𝗶𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗦𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀: Mixwave - Tony Royster Jr.
You've got good, natural feeling and connection with the music. Not trying too hard. Just locked into the rhythm. Always love a good, tasteful 3/4 groove. Something about the fills in 3/4 timing just talks to me. Nailed it man.
bro i need more of this! btw...we use the same set, what is a better kit on this set that has a good real hihat and ride sound? one of my favorite covers this year
Thank you!! As for the kit I use, I actually use a virtual drum plugin by Mixwave instead of using the kit sounds. On the actual kit, I think I used to use the Studio Live Room kit but I never fully experimented with all the different sounds in the module itself Sorry that it's not much help!
Hey man, fantastic cover. I’d love to know what you practiced in order to achieve your level of drumming. I have a pretty good understanding of linear and playing 2 limbs together like the RH, LH or BD, but sometimes crossing over timing can really put me off as I practice! Just wondering if you have some tips. Thanks!
Hi! Most of what I play is just from me jamming along to songs and just doing random fills here and there until I find something I like the sound of. I know that's not very technical advice, but I've found that a lot of what I play has come from a place of just enjoying doing whatever on the drums, rather than drilling different specific exercises into my wrists (I later found out that these are actually important for drumming... oops...). Wish I had a better answer for you, but wish you the best!
Hi! For my drums, I use a plugin called Mixwave to run my drum sounds through. They aren't a part of the TD-17 module themselves and the kit itself sends out MIDI information instead of audio. There are quite a few great sounds on the Roland module itself that you can use! I cannot remember which kit I previously used before using Mixwave sounds but it's always fun to dig through all the different drum samples and find ones that you love. Hope this helps!
@@tonyribeye5569 for me personally, i would pick between yamaha or roland. in my experience, they've been the two brands that make more durable kits and better sounding drum samples. I would recommend checking out a youtube channel called 65drums which has a bunch of different reviews of electric drum kits at various different price ranges.
Hi! The drum sounds aren't actually coming from the Roland module, only MIDI notes. I just feed those into the plugin with USB and I press record haha I would consider using irig if I used the Roland sounds though!

If Golden Hour was made in the early 2000's
Very nice. Where do you get those drum sounds from
Thank you!
The drum sounds are from Tony Royster Jr.'s kit by MixWave
good drum cover 9/10 because -1 the hair

First
I have the same drum set as you. What drum mode did you use?

Hey, what drums are those?
Hi!
The drum kit I use is a Roland TD-17KVX and the sounds for the drums come from the Tony Royster Jr. plugin by Mixwave!
@@mddrums alright, thanks. I've been in the market for some new, better electric drums. Would you recommend these?
