I'm just a watcher. I love watching these liquid paint videos. To me, they're just relaxing. I had no idea these would turn out like this. They are GORGEOUS!!!
I firmly believe that the texture of the crinkled aluminum foil makes a huge difference in how the paint reacts when the canvas is pressed into the paint. The friction and movement of the paint as you are putting pressure on the reverse side of the canvas and lifting it up makes the most incredible patterns!! These are gorgeous and you have, once again, inspired me! And as you say, you can always put your Gilly balloon kisses and rolls in there to add more movement and visual appeal for the eye. This is a magnificent trio!!! Just LOVE them!!! ~ Jan
Hello again, Cell mate!! Poor Jilly. Luckily she is with a dear friend. I can hear birds in the background. Such a serene sound...before Mr. Crow showed up. Another success with Gilly and her color combinations...Santa spewed!! The edges were gorgeous. Laying the paint down in the "v" pattern gives such a lovely finish. Craziness always happens when good friends get together. Honestly, in the round several areas look like balloon rolls. Oh, where did the black water balloon go? "...poke in the eye with a sharp stick.." my brother says that all the time!! All turned out lovely!!
They all turned out lovely! I totally saw flower gardens...especially in the round one. Going a step further, I can’t help but feel this would make a beautiful background to maybe pour a coat of resin and then paint in some more defined flowers on a few levels to give it a 3D effect....OH this makes me want to create!!! 💐💐❤️❤️

I love all of them. If you want crinkles from the foil you have to use just a thin layer of paint, literally brush it on. Or you put all your paint on your canvas then get a crinkled sheet of foil and press it into the canvas. They are beautiful as they are though xxx
With super full color compositions like this I find that dark sides....black, navy, black cherry etc tend to make the front part POP more than the same colored sides. Especially when Sides are wide, it almost frames the piece.😁
Glad Jilly is feeling better. I bought some M Marte paint and love the colors. I use Elmer's glue and just added gloss medium. This is a very pretty effect. I am going to place a design of molding paste and dip. Will see what happens. Instead of using water to thin I am using ZIM Later X tender. My colors remain vibrant and my cells are round and full of color. Love the combination effect. Tired of using Floetrol. I like come cells but not all the time. I was playing and didn't like the piece. I placed some yellow-green paint and let it run across the pour. What came out was a leopard. Just beautiful. I have a flip phone-will try to take a picture and post. In another pour I have an animal with a derby on it's head (cell configuration). I am retired and live alone-amusing oneself. Pouring is addictive. Have a wonderful day.

Try putting something under the aluminum like sand, gravel, etc. Don't use too much paint or it will just fill in the texture. This came to mind while watching. I haven't tried it. Lol!
