I have never heard of light amount affecting germination. I have only heard that soil temperature affecting germination. Most gardeners in my area plant warm-weather crops, like tomatoes, in May when daylight is about 15 hours/day.
@MindandSoil this needs to be addressed. This experiment is irrelevant without a discussion of thermostat-controlled heat mats. ALSO you should have included a control that receives NO light.
I buy the type of tomatoe I want to grow. Squeeze out the seeds, eat the tomatoe, try to spread the seeds out, cover with a little dirt, water and wait. I think i get about 100% germination. Every year I have so many i put them out on the sidewalk for free.
Here's exactly what to do: 1. Go outside 2. Walk around your neighborhood looking for the house with the best garden. 3. Make friends with the gardener who lives there. 4. Ask them about it.
God even mention it, that he has created the night for rest and the day for achievement. How God's creation is complex but still follow the simple princple. The plants are like human they also needs rest time.
Seeds don’t need light to germinate.
yeah its a great demonstration
Incorrect, many seeds do require light to germinate, tomatoes though not among them.

Finally seeing some updates since i love to watch experiments in gardening. Mind and soil still delivers
Yup just took a little down time through the winter but it will be full steam ahead from here on out!
Omg I wanna see what’s next😮
Experiment result videos will be coming out every week for the entire season so stay tuned!
Next time you should do 4 different light intensities, and another time do different color spectrums

Although I've read that plants prefer a dark period of time, I'm going to guess that more light equals more growth.
Cool experiment!
I am curios as well. 😮
Hello, I am from India. I don't have raised beds to grow vegetables. So what to do. Please 🙏 help me for growing vegetables. Thank you sir
You do not need a raised bed. Any good soil with plenty of sunlight works.
Here's exactly what to do:
1. Go outside
2. Walk around your neighborhood looking for the house with the best garden.
3. Make friends with the gardener who lives there.
4. Ask them about it.
A bucket full of soil is a raised-bed garden.
It may be small, but if you collect many buckets, your garden will grow.
Totes also work.
Use containers

What is turkey base
baster... it's a tool to suck up cooking juices and squirt them back on the meat.
Turkey baster. Basically a giant syringe
He used a turkey baster to measure equal amounts of water for each pot.
They look tall and skinny. The lights might need to be closer
Bullshit video with zero relevant information. Thanks for wasting our time 👍
Yep! EXACTLY what I was thinking! I'll BLOCK this channel!
Agreed.
