never thought Daihatsu can sound like this and driven like this 😲
Yep they are great cars
I got a sirion sport too but the new model
Small and furious...I like it...Sounds so good!!!
It is a very good car!

Subscribed!!!😍
Thank You!
It’s a great car, I have one but the modern one Sirion Sport from 2007
Everything is good, except the interior quality but great space, amazing engine (K3VE does 87hp, K3VE2 is the one in the older model)
I had the same car, but from 2006. I've driven more than 90000 km and the only things I've change was oil, brakes and spark plugs. Extremely reliable. Great car!
I had both. The older one has a great engine, you can rev it til 8800 revs and has a great stock sound. It is cheap, reliable and economical. And it has almost no space on rear seats. The second one (87 hp) is more practical and attractive, but it is not sporty at all, at least it is also very reliable. For me the old version (102 hp) is better for fun, the next gen better for family.
@@raduanatol6329 I prefer the second generation for design and fuel economy too
It’s not « sporty » but it’s decently fun!
@sheppardpat47 agree, like an overall car is better the second one. And it can be also fun, if it is reved high.
The second gen M300 is also a great car, I would say one of the best in its category. In Germany they are quite popular.
Cool
Thank You!
Sa speram ca va fi mai multa actiune pe canal.... 🙃😊
Sperăm și noi! 😉
Promitem că va fi 😏
i saw that sirion 1.3 102hp in seat leon 1.4 tsi 125hp finished 3-4 lengths ahead until 400 meters... It has a very good kilo horsepower advantage 850/102=8.3kg
Yes! The engine is a blast, sounds great and is very reliable, burns some oil, but thats normal for such a high rev engine. The only thing I dont like about this car - it understeers too much in wet / slippery conditions.
@@pushthethrottle i just wrote to another user that his vehicle is over 200000km and confirmed that he consumes oil:)
@@Mercury.35. Are you Turkish my friend? :)
@@sirionist4386 merhaba sirioncu:)
@@Mercury.35. Merhaba dostum. Benim devrim artık bitti. 10 sene kullanıp sattım. K3-VE2'nin zamanında tokatlamadığı araba yoktu :)
Buona praticità direi!
My first car so far ...
It is a very reliabile, cheap, and underrated fun car.
@@pushthethrottle
That's why I bought it. I'm young and a new driver. I'll learn and practice until I buy something better and more expensive.
@@ahmadhddad359If we speak about reliability, fun and engine there are not so many better FWD small hatchbacks out there. Just some Hondas, other Daihatsus and Suzukis. Just think about 2 things owning this car - you shoud get good tires, especially in wet and icy conditions, because the car has a big tendency to understeer and with the time, if you will drive high RPMs it can burn some oil.
How is the suspension on this car? stiff enough?
It is stiffer than usual, but not enough and the car lacks torsional stiffness. Also this generation has a tendency for understeering. But on the other hand the engine is a little marvel - is powerful, reliable, economical, sounds great and it is cheap to maintain.
I have the same model - the suspension is stiff enough and good enough even for bad roads
17:00 Rechtsfahrgebot :D
This model is somewhat harder to find than the newer one. Fortunately I just managed to find one. It is cheap and it is fun to drive, because of its long gears and high rpms. What is that red light that comes on sometimes? I don't have that.
The engine is great and sounds like a small rally car. That red light is for braking.
My first sport hatchback ❤
Was there chronic oil loss in the engine?
@erhan35able yes, after about 200000 km. In economical mode about 200-300 ml / 1000 km. In sport mode/high revs about 500-700 ml / 1000 km. And this was the only issue. Otherwise, an extremely reliable car. Nothing went wrong. Pity the brakes are not enough strong.
@@RCiobanuA i was doubtful about reducing the oil because it is a toyota engine, and a revving engine toyota's many engines are famous for their oil consumption, maybe it can be considered normal for 200000km, and the life of this engine is about 300000km
@@RCiobanuA the k3-ve2 engine consumes oil at earlier kilometers. Have you heard such a thing? At what km did you use the Sirion?
Some people complained about oil consumption after 80000km
I've have never seen this car before. Where is it produced?
It is produced in Japan by Toyota
@@pushthethrottle Thanks!!! Love japanese cars, they are almost unbreakable.
it seems so fast, especially in curves (or it is just video effect 🤪🤪🤪🤪)
Whaaat?? 200 km/h?
but it should drive only 180 😂
how much cost this car?
about 1600-2500 Euro in Germany
Does it rev 8k
I have tried 7800 rpm and everything was ok
Had a rally 2 in silver ,,, 107 hp . 0-60 7.8 but not much in the top two gears . Steering is over assistaned and vague and the brakes are spongy and it feels flimsy
Yes, it is like that! And also the chasis and the body of the car lacks rigidity and the car has a big tendancy of understeering, especially on wet. But the engine sounds great, like a small rally engine and also the car feels agile and is very, very reliable and cheap to buy and to maintain.
he now haw drive ?
Just take the Daihatsu Sirion 1.3 AWD and you only have to engine swap it to create a Storia X4 replica.
Great Idea! Thank You!
