I figured this out, then I found your video, go figure! I used to own a taurus that had it under the dash, so after three trips out to the car I found it, tried it, and smiled.
I've watched a ton of videos and haven't been able to find it but I will look left of the brake pedal in my daughters' car tomorrow. Im hoping to find it- thank you for this video!

I was told the same line by my dealership and now I'm tempted to call them back to ask why something that took me about 5 minutes was going to cost $50, and why they wouldn't let me know this is possible to do on my own. I was afraid the original owners might have changed the code from factory, but actually, it seems the factory code is always valid. At least, so far it seems the personal code I set and the original factory code on that sticker are both accepted by the keypad. That's good to know~
2 years late in responding, but the factory code always works unless there's another issue. It's not like changing a lock on a house door where the old key won't work. If you changed the code from factory because you split with your ex- your ex would still be able to get into your car. Another way of putting it is if you change from the factory code to one you can remember, you're just adding a 2nd code that works.

My keyless key pad isn’t working. The factory code doesn’t work. So I suspect the the key pad is not working. Is there any solution?
Replacing the whole pad but sadly I don't know how to help you with that. Good luck
Do you have any info on reprogramming the original key fob without having to go to a dealer?
No I don't. You may be able to find some info online but it can be pretty difficult on newer cars.

Yes, there is instructions online and in the manual, I believe.
