There are still 13 seeds that you can plant in your garden during the month of June if you live in Zones 7 and 8. You have a nice long summer so you will still have plenty of time to bring these crops to full maturity. Your weather is warm so be sure to offer these need seedlings a lot of extra care once you plant them.
    Here’s the list:
    Beans
    Summer Squash
    Potatoes
    Corn (sweet and popcorn)
    Cucumbers
    Tomatoes
    Melons
    Kale
    New Zealand Spinach
    Malabar Spinach
If you live in Zone 7 you should also get the following seeds started indoors towards the end of the month for fall planting:
    Broccoli
    Brussel Sprouts
    Cabbage
    Cauliflower
    Kale
    Kohlrabi

I very respectfully disagree on the late-season potato advice. Late season potatoes go in mid/late-July and harvest after first frost (usually in late Oct, mid/late Nov). 7a here. YMMV of course. Either way, good luck!

    • @StoneyAcresGardening
      @StoneyAcresGardening  4 ปีที่แล้ว

You should be fine with those as long as you have enough time before your first frost. So check the maturity dates, and if you have at least that long before frost then you should be good to go!

I'm in Zone 8 and I put mine out after my last frost date but with the up & down temps in 2021 my determinate & Indeterminate tomatoes seems to have stunted so I planted more seeds a few weeks ago.

Yep, as long as you have around 75 days until your first frost you should be fine. Once you move into July I would choose bush beans instead of pole beans because they mature quicker.
